| Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the emergence of a new generation of information technology,such as big data,has made human society enter the era of digital economy.In this context,express companies continue to explore the relevant application of big data technology in the company’s business activities.With the expansion of the application of big data technology in the express industry,the effect of big data on the profit model of express enterprises has also been significantly enhanced.The deep application of big data brings the transformation and upgrading of the profit model to express enterprises,including but not limited to changes in business scope,service objects and business types.Express enterprises apply big data to their business activities,shifting their focus from providing express products to price or solutions,so as to enhance their core competitiveness.This paper takes SF Express,the representative enterprise of express industry,as a typical case for research.First of all,this paper reviews the relevant literature,defines the basic concepts related to big data,and briefly introduces the Slywotzky element design theory and Prahalad core competitiveness theory adopted in this paper.Secondly,this paper qualitatively analyzes the impact of big data technology on the core competitiveness of enterprises from the four elements of profit model element design theory,so as to build a profit model element analysis model.Thirdly,this paper introduces the case company,the company’s development history and the current situation of the industry.On the basis of the above,this paper analyzes the relevant materials and data of SF Express through the profit model element analysis model,and finds that the application of big data is the core driving force of the ability,which enables SF Express to find new profit growth points by virtue of its advantages in big data resources,develop new ways to serve customers,improve the ability to serve customers,widely mobilize various business activities of SF Express,and improve the overall service ability of SF Express,Focus on the core resources of the enterprise,provide support for the development of SF Express towards diversification,help SF Express’ s business strategy shift from pursuing scale to focusing on sustainable development,and realize the balance between business growth and returns.In terms of the core driving force of innovation,SF Express has built a smart logistics and smart supply chain system through comprehensive digital transformation.It will focus on providing industrial solutions in the future,constantly invest in research and development to enhance its digital and intelligent level,improve its internal control ability through digital management,build a digital supply chain ecosystem for customer development,and jointly innovate business models with customers to achieve win-win results.Finally,based on the above research,this paper draws a conclusion that SF Express’ s profit model capability,core driving force of innovation and built competition space have changed greatly due to the deepening of the application of big data.These changes are reflected in the enhancement of the core competitiveness of enterprises.Combined with the conclusions of this study,it can provide reference for SF Express and other express enterprises in future practice. |
