| Environmental catastrophes like global warming and the extinction of biodiversity press nations all over the world to hasten the transition to a green,low-carbon economy, cut back on pollution, and preserve the ecology of the planet. With its rapid development, real estate has become the primary driver of China’s national economic growth, resulting in massive resource and energy consumption.A sizable amount of the total is attributable to the carbon emissions of real estate development businesses’ upstream supply chain links.Because of this, some of the top real estate companies argue that raising the standard of green management within the sector is insufficient.Additionally, the supply chain’s upstream and downstream companies must adhere to the green standards, and the entire chain must be mobilized to work together on a green transformation through industry green supply chain management. The choice of green suppliers is a crucial component of the management of the green supply chain that real estate development businesses undertake.Enhancing the green supplier selection process not only helps real estate development companies become more competitive overall, but it also encourages the real estate sector to grow sustainably and pushes them to take on more social obligations. This study combines a literature review, the Scor model, and field research to determine the evaluation indicators of real estate providers under the green supply chain, using on the research status of both domestic and foreign literature and the research of theories connected to the green supply chain. Finally, this thesis builds the green supplier selection index system for real estate development firms after screening and optimizing the assessment indicators through expert interviews.Entropy weights approach is employed in the assessment process to strengthen the evaluation index, and the green suppliers are then ordered using a combination of the approximate ideal solution ranking method(TOPSIS).Lastly, using Company M’s choice of green suppliers for elevators as an example, the entropy weight TOPSIS model is used to assess the chosen suppliers, serving as a theoretical guide and support for other businesses in the sector looking to choose green suppliers. The TOPSIS approach is utilized to determine the relative proximity of each evaluation object to the ideal solution in the elevator supplier selection scenario of Company M after the entropy weight method has been used to strengthen the evaluation indicators of the elevator green supplier. Finally,in order to choose the best source, the suppliers are ranked by relative closeness.According to the study, green indicators carry a sizable amount of weight, proving their importance as a criterion that cannot be disregarded when choosing providers. Also, supplier A is chosen as the best supplier using the thesis’ model, whereas supplier B is chosen as the best supplier utilizing Company M’s original evaluation approach.Comparative analysis reveals that supplier A,despite having a slightly higher product price than supplier B,satisfies firm M’s needs for cost control, has the lowest life cycle cost, the best green degree index,a sizable market share, and a strong reputation for its brands. Thus,it demonstrates that the thesis’ s index system is sound and its evaluation findings are reliable. |
