Analysis And Research Of Aggressive Driving Behavior At The Road Traffic

Traffic safety study research not only driver's cognition and personality but also driver's social psychology (such as driver's attitude and motivation, etc.) impacted on driving behavior. The integrity study on driver's cognitive, personality and social psychology could improve driver's cognition and driving skill, regulate the attitude and even play an impotent role in ameliorating China's traffic safety.This paper based on myriad materials in various disciplines conclude System Theory, cognitive psychology, traffic psychology, behavior histology, traffic engineering and safety engineering, making an in-depth study on aggressive driving behavior and constructed the basic theory frame of aggressive driving behavior. The paper's main contents include the following aspects:(1) Using of systemic and scientific method and view expounded the status quo of the aggressive driving behavior both at home and abroad, discussing the theory and cause of factors of traffic accident and made a dissertation against drivers the core of traffic safety.(2) Basing on reviewing the literature, the paper investigating the definition, classification and theoretical basis of aggressive behavior from psychological view. Defined aggressive driving behavior and road violence .The research bring forward the levels and features of aggressive driving behavior, discussed the affect factors and research methods of aggressive driving behavior and made the comparative analysis on driving behavior scale used both at home and abroad.(3)Analyzing driving mission and level after combined with cognitive psychology. Driving behavior is not only an instant integrated exemplification of comprehensive response of information perception, judgment and making move in three stages, but also a circular information processing process composed by them. Analyzed the mold of driving cognitive behavior, using parallel distribution processing paradigm and non-linear features of cognitive processing, constructed the social information processing mold of aggressive driving behavior for drivers from the view of cognitive ability and information processing, and revealed the law and mechanism of occurrence and development of aggressive driving behavior on basis of cognition.(4) Introducing the survey method and the design of questionnaire of aggressive driving behavior. Likert scale was used in assessment, an exploratory factor analysis for aggressive driving behavior was made, according to the foundation of real survey data found out five main factors. A test for validity and reliability was also made to establish the road map of aggressive driving behavior. After statistics and analysis for aggressive driving behavior a notable distinction was found that the dimension of type A behavior was distinct in different age, gender, driving age, driver type and automobile type.(5) Making a meticulous research on relationship between type A behavior and aggressive driving behavior. On base of reviewing the features of type A behavior and the study process, using complex acts scale as analysis scale of type A behavior to analyzed the reliability and validity of conduct exploratory factor and model of type A behavior. Analyzed the relevant relationship between type A behavior and aggressive driving behavior after establishing the mold and found out the conclusion that two behaviors are relevant.(6) The aggressive driving behavior questionnaire in the study based on theory of TPB(Theory of Planned Behavior) and combined with the former study results. The emphases of questionnaire are attitude of aggressive driving behavior, subject norm, driving cognitive behavior. Adopted small sample questionnaire to test and analyze, adjusted or renewed the items of attitude of driving behavior, subject norm and driving cognitive behavior.(7) Surveying and counting the characteristics of standard sample according to items of attitude of driving behavior, subjective driving standard and driving cognitive behavior, studied the reliability of target system of behavioral belief and outcome evaluation, normative belief and motivation to comply, control belief and perceived facilitation and the reliability of behavior intention target separately. Collected the statistics into LISREL for solving attitude structural equation and established the relation mold of attitude structure, subject norm structure, cognitive behavior control structure and behavior intention structure of aggressive driving behavior separately, and analyzed the reliability among these mold. According to the study driving cognitive behavior is the most important factor of behavior intention of aggressive driving behavior. Secondly is driving attitude, subject norm had the smallest effect. But in latent variable structure, because of the high correlation in control path among subject norm, driving attitude and driving cognitive behavior, there may be an indirect relationship between subject norm and behavior intention among them aggressive behavior intention was affected by driving attitude and driving cognitive behavior control.
