Studies On Anaesthetic Effects Of Propofol On Dogs And The Influence Of Propofol On Physiological Function

Anaesthetic effects of propofol on dogs and the influence of propofol on physiological function was systematically investigated in this study. The experiment was divided into two parts: one part was anaesthetic effects of single-applied propofol on dogs, the other part was anaesthetic effects of propofol combination on dogs.The experiment of anaesthetic effects of single-applied propofol on dogs was composed of single intravenous injection propofol and continuous intravenous injection propofol. Anaesthetic effects of the two kinds of injection manners(i.e. single intravenous injection and continuous intravenous injection)and the influence of this two kinds of injection manners on physiological function were observed in the experiment The results of the experiment had proved mat propofol could produce favorable effects in sedation, hypnogenesis and propofol had a slight influence on analgesia,and mat propofol had the characteristics of antivomit and antioxidation. Propofol had no distinct effect on the liver functionjudney function and body temperature. Electroencephalogram(EEG) showed restraining waves and electrocardiogram (ECG) showed some changes,but rhythm was normal.The experiment of anaesthetic effects of propofol combination on dogs was composed of single intravenous injection propofol combination and continuous intravenous injection propofol combination. Several kinds of drugs in the combination cooperated with each other so as to reduce respective doses and bad effects. Applying propofol combination made up the deficiencies in single-applied propofol,such as qiangtongning and ketamine enhanced antalgic effects, and that the sedative and hypnotic effects of propofol could be maken the best of, moreover, propofol counteracted the exciting effects of ketamine as cardiovascular center. In the experiment of anaesthetic effects of single intravenous injection propofol combination,a better anaesthetic combination(i.e. the combination of propofol, qiangtongning,ketamine and xylazoline)was confirmed by selecting-Compared with the other two combination,this combination had the better effects of analgesia, sedation and muscle relaxation,and this combination could improve cardiovascular function and enhance the anaesthetic effects of propofol. In the clinical application to the cutting tail operation, the cutting ear operation and the operation on eyes, favorablely anaesthetic effects had been achieved. This anaestheticcombination had a slight influence on the respiratory system and the circulatory system,so that the operations could be successfully accomplished. In the experiment of anaesthetic effects of continuous intravenous injection propofol combination,a better anaesthetic combination(i.e. the combination of propofol, qiangtongning and ketamine) was confirmed by selecting.Applying this anaesthetic combination to the bigger operations ,such as celiac operations on dogs, the anaesthesia took place rapidly and the anaesthetic effects was very well. There was no bad effect in the operations. The dogs came round soon after the finish of the operations and the injection,and that the dogs had no narcoma.Comparing continuous intravenous injection propofol combination with 846 and miannaining combination, and observing anaesthetic effects of drugs and the influence of drugs on physiological function, it was discovered that propofol combination gained an advantage over 846 and miannaining combination in anaesthetic effects and anaesthetic time,and that propofol combination had the important characteristics of antivomit and antioxidation.
