Land both has natural property and social property. Natural property of land embodies that land is composed by natural material such as air, soil, water, biology, gravel, rock and mineral. Social property of land is related with human’s activities which happen in the process of land use and land transformation. Therefore, land use pattern is affected by human’s actives. On the one hand, human’s activities impact regional land use pattern and land use ecology system by the transformation of the manner of land use. On the other hand, human’s activities are restricted by land use pattern and have strong regional characteristics. According to the purpose and motivation of human’s activities as well as there interest claim, the participants involves in land use activities could be divided into different types of land use behavior agents. The change of land use process is the result caused by the communication between the behavior of land use behavior agents and land use environment. The purpose of these land use behavior agents could not be seen directly, however, human’s activities have certain purpose and the result of behavior could leave some marks. Therefore, we can detect there thoughts, awareness and psychology through the research of showing behaviors as well as its result. The mainline of this dissertation is land use behavior, which introduces the agent based modeling method into land use space decision base on the research of characteristics of different land use behavior agents’ activities as well as the interaction between different land use behavior agent, for example the game theory analysis between different land use behavior agent. Finally, the dissertation takes Yicheng city as an example to mimic the process and the result of land use decision behavior which shows the rules of land use change in order to provide suggestion for land management and land use planning.Considering the complexity and multidiscipline of this research, the dissertation uses the multi-methods, such as induction, modeling and empirical study, as well as absorbed the fruit of other field’s study, including geography, land science, behavior science and artificial intelligence.First, this dissertation build theoretical framework of land use behavior research including:①the in-depth study of the behavior’s value direction, characteristics, the manners of behavior decision as well as the mechanism of behavior regulation,②the land use decision process based on land use planning. Then, the dissertation builds the game theory model of land use violation behavior and land use planning behavior to analyze the mechanism of balanced strategy between government, land use unit and individual land use participant. The results of land use violation behavior research show that:①if government detects land use violation behavior, as rational government will take the strong penalties to make up the cost happening in the process of monitoring process.②if the interests produced by land use violation behavior excess the penalties, land use participants will definitely choose land use violation behavior.③if the penalty is stronger, the probability of land use violation is smaller.④the cost of monitoring behavior is larger, the probability of land use violation is smaller. The research of land use planning behavior shows that government is always in dominant status of land use planning process. Farmers always in disadvantage status, which explains the reason why farmers interests are usually neglected in the process of land use decision process.Next, the dissertation provides a model framework of land use decision behavior based on agent technology in which considers that the behavior of land use agent is decided by the states of belief, desire, purpose as well as fact/regulation. The dissertation also describe land use system, land use agents and land use environment by mathematical language, and analyze the behavior process of land use decision.Finally, the dissertation uses the object oriented programming methods to realize the model and experimentize empirical research. Including:①analyze land use structure and land use pattern of research area;②describe the setting of model based on the actual situation of research area;③mimic the results of land use decision behavior in differ scenario. One scenario is that the government, enterprise and farmer have the equal power; the other scenario is that the government has the dominant status in land use decision process. The results show that whether in scenario 1 or in scenario 2, the trends of land use expansion are same as a whole. However, the spatial result in scenario 1 is more scattered than the result in scenario 1, and the utility value of enterprise and farmer in scenario 1 is higher then that in scenario 2, instead, the utility value of government in scenario 1 is lower then that in scenario 2.
