Nowadays, the development of stochastic renewableenergy generation is very fast on behalf ofwind power and solar energy, the installed capacity and online quantity have reached the forefront of the world, especially the wind power installed capacity has reached the top of the world.But subject to impacts of randomness, volatility, intermittent, wind curtailment and abandoned light problems become serious, which makes low utilization efficiency of input equipment and is not conducive to capital recovery, the characteristic ofenvironmental friendly is also not fully used.For this reason, in order to change the status of developing stochastic clean energy and enhance its grid-connected, it has carried out an in-depth research on grid-connected from generation side, the gridside and user side at home and abroad. In particular, the generation side has formedconsumptive patterns of micro-grid and virtual power plant, which has made remarkable achievementsin the practical application. Because the power supply and demand should be balance at times, applicability of research on stochasticpower grid optimizationwill be restrained if only considering the generation side.As the ultimate consumer of electrical energy, the research on demand side measuresplays an important role on stochasticpower absorption.Therefore, this paperstudies on optimization problems of powerresource utilization efficiencybased on the user side perspective, which specifically includes the following aspects.(1) This paper summarizes the basic results about optimization and utilization of power resources at home and abroad. It also introduces power resources utilization status and trends in China, andanalyzes the existing problems of power resources utilization, so the improvement ways are proposed from generation side, user side and the linkage of generation and user side.(2) This paper constructs an optimization model on power utilization with user side demand response.Basic theory of demand response is introduced. An optimization model on power utilization based on demand response is constructed combined withanalysis of power generation characteristics for different power resources. Utilization results are compared before and afterdemand response and the optimization effect of demand response on power resources utilization efficiency is analyzed.(3) This paper constructs an optimization model on power utilization with user side tariff mechanism. Firstly, it introduces the user side price mechanism, and then builds an optimization model on power utilization under TOU,interruptible load price andresident ladder pricing.The results of example show that the introduction of user side price mechanism can guidea reasonable use of electricity, the transfer of electricity time and the reduce of electricity demand, so generator capacity can be optimized and the ability ofstochastic power resource absorption can be enhanced.(4) This paper constructsan optimization model of power resource utilization efficiency by diversified electricity way with user side.Firstly, it introduces thediversified electricity way with user side, and then builds an optimization model on power utilization based on power direct purchasing for large consumers,Electricity delivery andenergy storage system. The simulation results indicate that power direct purchasing for large consumers,Electricity delivery andenergy storage system can improve power resources absorption. Then, it puts forward optimization model of power absorption based on portfolio. At last, it measures the benefit of different path to improvepower absorption.(5) This paper constructs an optimization model of power resource absorption by the linkage of generation side and user side.Firstly, it introduces the energy power plant and virtual power plant, and then builds a power programming optimization modelincluding EPP.The simulation results indicate that the introduction of energy power plant can help delay the installed timing and can increase the grid capacity of stochastic power, the utilization efficiency of power resource can also be enhanced.Further, ajoint scheduling optimization model is constructed. Maximizing grid capacity ofVPP is the goal in upper layer, andmaximizing income of EPP is the goal in the lower. Solution of the model introduces crossbar algorithm of multi-level and multi-objective. Results show the joint of EPP and VPP is conducive to enhance the capability ofstochastic power absorption and can improve the utilization efficiency of power resources.
