It can not be shirked for the education theorists to scan and look on dialectically and rationally the New Curriculum Reform(NCR) of the fundamental education in China, which is not only of necessity for summarizing the NCR in the phase, but will be eliciting and of reference for the NCR to be boosted smoothly. It requires innovations in thinking style or methodology to look on and scan rationally and constructively the NCR, while it is a new angle of view from under the science of complexity.This thesis consists of 6 chapters. The introduction part accounts for the reason for choosing the topic, the signification of the study, the status quo of the study, correlative literature, and the property ,method and angle of the study, emphasizing the epistemological and methodological groundwork, i.e. complicated thoughts and paradigm, discussing adaptation, necessity and reasonableness of complicated thoughts to the NCR, which prepares the ground for reflecting thoroughly and entirely the NCR from under the view of complicated thoughts.The birth of science of complexity means a revolution in the thinking styles. Switching from simplified thoughts to complicated thought is a thinking approach to reflect the NCR at this stage. Chapter 2, using the complicated thoughts as tools, scans the notions and conceptions in the NCR in the 4 items: the frame of reference of the NCR----globalization and internationalization vs nationalization and localization, the value-tropism of the NCR----humanism vs socialism, the era orientation----modernity vs post-modernity, the new notion of the NCR----duality antinomy vs interlacement and intergrowth. Chapter 3 sees briefly about the preparation for the teachers' profession, the curriculum reform project and the society, and moreover the corresponding measures, such as the enrollment or selection system, school management, teachers' training, and the combination of all the concerned aspects of the society. Chapter 4 analyzes the negative factors in the duration of the NCR, such as urbanization, formalization and utilitarianization, the students' burdens increasing, the teachers' maladjustment and confusion, meanwhile the research study and integrating practice activities have become interspersed.This study indicates that the NCR is being carried out on a simplified route. That is why the NCR brings about series of mistakes and negative effects. So only by switching thinking angle from simplified thoughts to complicated thoughts to understand, orientate and adjust the NCR with the complicated thoughts can the NCR be continually progressing.Chapter 5 and 6 deal mainly with the methodology and strategies to construct the prospect and promote the NCR in the angle of complicated thoughts. The following is the abecedarian truss: the conception of the NCR organization, system and culture; the conception of the NCR's history, reality and future dimensionality; the structure in which all the obligations are shared by the school, family and society, and all the potency converges. Guided by the established value-tropism and goals, the ideal NCR needs to adjust the relation net interveined in length and breadth by organization, system and culture, to give attention to different dimensions and to re-orientate deportment styles and existence patterns of different profit bodies. The reform of the new curriculum is a complicated systematical evolvement, involving relationships of multi-layers, multi-dimensions and multi-body interacting. The new relations will come forth and interact in the new space time. Therefore, the NCR needs to establish practical and realistic methodology as a whole, to constitute tactically essential strategies of steady reforms, to take material approaches of 'use for reference' rather than 'transplant', 'inherit' rather than 'discard', 'harmony' rather than 'conflict' so as to progress reliably and continually. However, if we do not solve the deep-rooted problem, i.e. change the simplified ways of thoughts, the purpose of the NCR will probably be difficult to achieve!...
