"Role" is generally defined in Modern Psychology as "the functionthat individual performs at a specific position of certain social relation".By using the theory of "role" education psychologists are consciouslystudying those psychological problems of education, teaching and schoollife. They especially, from this angle, explain the function of a teacher,and his /her psychology character and behavior pattern related to theinterpersonal relationship at school. American scholars C.Glingrin.&J.W.Souli have given out detailed analysis about the roles that a teacherplays at school.New course is walking into the campus, walking into teachers and thestudents' life. The curriculum reform requests the teacher in teachingprocess to act the new roles: the teacher should be the guider and forwarderof study of students but not only as a teacher to teach knowledge;the teachershould be the organizer of the study, but not a authority in the teachingany more;The teacher should be the curriculum researchers and the curriculumdevelopers and constructors;the teacher should be the developmentalindividual with students and workmates ; the teacher should be thecurriculum practitioners;the teacher should be a clinical education expertsin teaching;the teacher should be the participant democracy manager of theclass and the school etc. In fact, it means that the meaning of the"teacher" should be relocated, The change of these roles is morebeneficial to the development of our teachers, students and schools. Butaccording to our inquisition and interview, we discove that because of thestyle of themselves heritage thinking and working is suffered impact, whenthey accept the new roles, the teachers will have some clashes and problemsin the mental doubtless. For example: the anxiety because of the change fromthe authority position to the cooperator position;The the shortage ofknowledge construction and ability cause the anxiety;the technical abilityof developing curricular is bad; The ability of teaching research is bad;the clash between innovation and habit in the teaching;the clash ofoperating load and obtaining the occupation achievement hard;the clashbetween the system of evaluate which is not perfect and the rate of enteringa higher school;The clash between accepting the education again and themanagement system etc. But these clashes of mental make many of teachersfeel indecisively while putting teaching into practice. If these problemscan't be solved immediately, it will affect curriculum to be practicedsmoothly. 2We know that every education reform all can not get away from the largeeducators' participant, comprehend and support .So in order to help theteacher can acquaint and understand these new roles better, and in the goodcharacter of these new roles in teaching sooner, this text raise theadjustment both the teachers themselves and school: In the process of roles'change the teacher should aware deepil into the reformed spirit, passingthe changes of the passivity hesitates in time,set up "an idea ofdevelopmental life", with a common heart attitude;change from removingothers result to the positive thinking, has some "create" in the teaching,strengthen the"healthy consciousness", control the "mental state healthytechnique", resume the"personality magic power"by enhance the"mentalstate accomplishment"etc. Using various forms to precede the mentaladjustment to meet the need of the reform. And the school also should adopthomologous measure to cause the teachers' role change.
