The research is focused on nonlinear water price modeling, mechanism and its application based on the idea of demand management of the multi-sources project.In market economy, both intra-source and local source supply water for company, which composes a multi-source market. Due to difference of cost and purpose etc, the connection fees and coordination operation with local water project of intra-source project are involved in expectation functions, economic gains of project in order to realize optimal allocation of water resources. Firstly, Dissertation systematically and comprehensively analyses water industry characteristics, points that nature monopoly is industry background which are involved in implementation and the strategy of water pricing, provides two dilemma of nature monopoly of multi-source system. So the Multi-sources pricing mechanism is put forward to. Based on demand management and optimal goal of social surplus, it presents non-linear water pricing model, which includes two parts: dividing water gap model and end model of water price. Concerned with the difficulty to solve, it combines analytical method and numerical method, improves genetic algorithm. Finally, it analyses function of non-linear water pricing of multi-source, then apply it to Shan Dong Peninsula in East Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project. It coordinates the relation between transferring sources and local sources, considers the impact the water users' demand price elasticity on water use efficiency, which has effect on improving water using efficiency, bridging society for conserving water.
