With China’s accession to the WTO, foreign enterprises make a great deal of pressure to Chinese enterprises, how to gain the initiative in the new economic situation, the key lies in the innovation capacity of enterprises. Enterprises plan to improve their ability to innovation is an important way for effective integration and development of corporate human resources. Therefore, the carrier of knowledge and technology innovation--the importance of knowledge workers is becoming increasingly important. How to motivate knowledge workers is a problem. This article selects a coal enterprise to motivate the current situation of research and analysis, and effective incentives for knowledge workers of the coal enterprises countermeasures. I hope these responses to improve the incentive system of the enterprise knowledge workers.First, the system has combed the literature study. Elaborated famous scholars to analyze and discuss the definition of enterprise knowledge workers on the basis of the background of this study. The combination of China’s national conditions derived concepts and features of China’s enterprise knowledge workers through elaborate scholars employee motivation theory, provide a solid theoretical basis for the study of enterprise knowledge workers.Second, select a representative of the coal industry enterprise to focus on objects, theoretical and empirical analysis, elaborated on the basis of the status of the company profiles and motivation of the employees, questionnaires and structured interview incentive to conduct research, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise knowledge-based employee incentive system.Finally, show the concept of the career cycle of knowledge workers. Including the selection period, the development period and the maturity period. And income incentives for survey analysis, consolidated the previous staff motivation theory and the understanding of employee motivation of the enterprise knowledge workers career development cycle incentive countermeasures:First, the incentive of the selection period, including:corporate culture inspire and incentive pay. Second, the incentive of the development period, including the establishment for the workers’ personal development planning mechanism and the establishment of a two-way communication mechanism. Third, by introducing a competitive mechanism and enhance the sense of cooperation to motivate knowledge workers in the maturity period.
