| Objectives:1. Survey and analyze the detection rate and characteristics of college students’ exercise dependence;2. Study on influencing factors of exercise dependence;3. Analyze the influence of exercise dependence on psychological health of college students;4. Discuss about the intervention effects of Positive Acceptance Interview in college students with exercise dependence.Methods:1. With college students of three colleges in Hunan Province as subjects, select a total of1,689students who have long-term exercise as respondents of this survey,1601valid questionnaires have been recovered, including984male and617female students aged between19and22respectively. Survey the detection rate and related factors of college students’exercise dependence by general questionnaire, exercise addiction inventory, perfectionism scale, and exercise motivation scale, and psychological needs scale etc, make an in-depth study on the formation of exercise dependence and discuss about psychological mechanism of the formation of exercise dependence.2. Survey psychological health problems of college students by general questionnaire, exercise addiction inventory, state-trait anxiety inventory, center for epidemiologic studies depression scale and subjective well-being scale, and analyze the influence of exercise dependence on college students’psychological health.3. With the principle of voluntary participation, select30college students with exercise dependence as respondents, and divide them into two groups, each has15students. One group is intervention group and would receive psychological intervention of Positive Acceptance Interview, while another group is control group and is used to make longitudinal and horizontal comparison with intervention group before and after experiment. The intervention group, including9male students and6female students aged between20and22with an average age of (20.8±0.9), would receive3-week Positive Acceptance Interview intervention. The control group, including8male students and7female students with an average age of (21.2±0.9), would not receive any intervention. Evaluate intervention effects by exercise dependence scale, state-trait anxiety inventory, center for epidemiologic studies depression scale, subjective well-being scale and positive acceptance scale, and discuss about the intervention effects of Positive Acceptance Interview on exercise dependence.Results:1. The detection rate of respondents’exercise dependence is11.3%; the detection rate of male students is significantly higher than female students (P=0.011), the detection rate of those with long-term exercise is significantly higher than those with short-term exercise (P<0.001), the detection rate of those with frequent exercise per week is significantly higher than those with less frequent exercise per week (P<0.001), the detection rate of those with long duration of each exercise is significantly higher than those with short duration of each exercise (P<0.001).2. Appearance motivation and competence motivation have direct and positive influence on exercise dependence, competence needs have direct and positive influence on exercise dependence and affect exercise dependence indirectly through appearance motivation and competence motivation; negative perfectionism affects exercise dependence directly and positively, and affects exercise dependence indirectly through appearance motivation and competence motivation, while positive perfectionism affects exercise dependence indirectly through competence motivation and appearance motivation.3. Exercise dependence affects college students’state anxiety positively (P<0.05); affects their depression positively (P<0.05); affects negative emotions of their subjective well-being positively (P<0.05); and affects their self-satisfaction, social behaviors and energy negatively (P<0.05).4. After intervention of three-week Positive Acceptance Interview, the difference of intervention group and control group in terms of exercise dependence, state anxiety, depression, self-satisfaction, negative emotions, energy, positive emotions, positive acceptance and aggressiveness before and after intervention has statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. The detection rate of exercise dependence of college students with regular exercise is11.3%; while the detection rates of exercise dependence of students who are male, have long-term exercise, frequent exercise per week and long duration of each exercise are higher.2. Appearance motivation and competence motivation affect exercise dependence directly and positively; negative perfectionism and competence needs not only play a direct role in exercise dependence, but also play an indirect role in exercise dependence through appearance and competence; while positive perfectionism only plays an indirect role in exercise dependence through appearance and competence.3. Exercise dependence is positively correlated to college students’anxiety and depression; and affects negative emotions in subjective well-being positively, while affects self-satisfaction, social behaviors and energy negatively.4. Positive Acceptance Interview can be used to treat college students’exercise dependence and promote psychological health of college students with exercise dependence.9figures,39Tables,171References. |
