Comparative Research And Enlightenment Of British And American Entrepreneurial University Management Mode

As a new mode of university development, Entrepreneurial University has been concerned widespread in academic circles of abroad higher education. The rise of Entrepreneurial University adapt to the knowledge economy and the law of the university development, it evolved from teaching-oriented university and research-oriented university, with its strong research capabilities and entrepreneurial capacities, it is to assume the important task of knowledge and technological innovation, and has become the source of national economy and social development.This research selects "Entrepreneurial University Management Mode" as the object, to explore the theory of Entrepreneurial University, reviews the rise and development of the British and American Entrepreneurial University, and compares the management mode of the British and American entrepreneurial university on the basis of summarizing the management mode of British and American entrepreneurial university. And, it constructs the Chinese entrepreneurial university management mode with the Chinese conditions and the status of Chinese Entrepreneurial University development.The full text of the dissertation is divided into six chapters. Its literary construction arrangement is as follows:As a preface, the first chapter puts forward the necessity of the research of the entrepreneurial university, introduces summarily the main contents, framework and methods, it summarizes and evaluates the relative literatures and the research innovation. The second chapter describes the related concepts and the basic theory of Entrepreneurial University, the related concepts include:entrepreneurial university, mode, management mode, the entrepreneurial university management mode, the management mode of the British entrepreneurial university, the management mode of American entrepreneurial university; the basic theories of Entrepreneurial University include:Triple Helix theory, the academic capitalism theory, the public governance theory, the growth pole theory and the resource dependency theory. It also elaborates the connotations of the basic theories and the relationship between the basic theories with this study. The third chapter introduces the emergence and development of British and American entrepreneurial university. On the basis of analysis of the background of British and American entrepreneurial university, it is from the perspective of the development of the university functions to explain the emergence of the British and American entrepreneurial university. And the development of the management mode of the British and American entrepreneurial university, the relationship between the entrepreneurial university with other universities, as well as the characteristics of the British and American entrepreneurial university are discussed.The fourth part compares the management mode of the British entrepreneurial university with the American entrepreneurial university.
