In order to construct a mechanism of collaboration between employers and colleges in educating Teaching/Industrial professionals with Chinese characteristics and career education style, the thesis is developed on the basis of reflection, critique, assimilation and construction with the modular design concept in it. With the comprehensive use of various education and research approaches, it produces explainable theories and a guiding operation pattern. At last, it puts forward some rational suggestions on the policy level, providing reference for the government’s making and perfection of current policy of education Teaching/Industrial professional of career and technical education.The whole thesis is divided into nine parts. Every part is a complete one and is integrated into the full unit. The first part introduces the background, scope, concepts, value, method, content, problems, challenges and innovation of the thesis project. The current situation and challenges in constructing employer/educational institution partnership in developing Teaching/Industrial Professionals in vocational education are of the most importance. The second part is mainly about challenges in the development of Teaching/Industrial Professionals education system in China. The three most challenging factors are: policy and institution, standards and criteria, education and development. The third part presents the related experiences of other countries. In this part, the experiences in Germany, Britain, United States and Australia are analyzed to go by in our future work. The fourth part focuses on education process of Teaching/Industrial Professionals. On the investigation of the necessity of educating Teaching/Industrial Professionals, the thesis reaches four criteria and eight kinds of Teaching/Industrial Professionals education models. The most challenging fact in the education process is the absence of institutions(interest institution, operation institution, supply institution). The fifth part emphatically analyzes the foundation for collaboration, including theoretical basis, policy basis, reality basis and connection basis. The sixth part is interest investigation. It is mainly about the stakeholders and their interest in the development of collaboration between employers and colleges. In order to solve the problem of interest game, the thesis wants to construct some kind of institution to balance the interests of various stakeholders.The seventh part discusses the operating mechanism. At first, it analyzes collaboration process, management institution and collaboration path. Then, it builds the collaboration development and operation model with need analysis, project design, and project operation. At last, it investigates the achievement effect theory and concludes the factors affecting the achievement effect and three strategies to promote it. The eighth part constructs a supply mechanism of collaborations between enterprises and colleges from the aspects of government function, employers’ participation and responsibility, institutional system and funding system. The last part sums up systematically the results of the thesis, points out the research conclusions and viewpoints and looks forward to the future research direction, emphasis and difficulties.
