Huizhou region is one of the national level demonstration zones of material cultural heritage in China,the traditional construction technology of the Huizhou traditional folk houses is the important content of material cultural heritage.On the premise of maintaining the original and authentic space form,improving effectively the indoor physical environment of traditional folk houses,at the same time,in term of meeting the needs of contemporary living requirements,improving the indoor thermal comfort,the indoor physical environment of traditional folk houses is integrated to improve,upgrade,and make the traditional folk houses continued optimization or replacement of function in the living function so that meeting the energy efficiency and reasonable indoor comfort and the requirements.In the background of contemporary ecology crisis and the environment worsening forces,the low cost of the economy and the physical technical measures of the habitability have important practical significance and benefit from social,economic and environmental in the contemporary.Aimed at actual situation of the Huizhou traditional folk houses,through the investigation of subjective questionnaire,based on the analysis,evaluation of multiple factors,by using factor analysis method,to analyze emphatically the complex physical environment of traditional ancient settlements and the traditional folk houses in Huizhou region,in the 15 influencing factors on indoor physical environment of traditional folk houses,the 5 main public impact factors were obtained which is the important and useful feedback information for improving indoor physical environment.Through the field measure of the physical parameters related with summer,winter physical environment on the traditional folk houses which involved indoor and outdoor temperature,relative humidity,surface temperature of enclosure structure,indoor thermal comfort,indoor and outdoor wind environment,indoor daylight environment,noise environment,etc.the paper analyzed the objective physical environment and summarized the existing problems in traditional folk houses,combined with the adaptive behavior of local residents,developed primarily an adaptive model of thermal comfort for Huizhou area.Based on the deficiency of keeping warm and thermal insulation performance related the main enclosure structure in traditional folk houses,in order to upgrade the indoor physical environment of huizhou traditional folk houses,improving heat preservation and heat insulation of enclosure structure,improving their heat resistance,the main filling material-raw soil was studied which was used in main enclosure structure.With the local traditional raw soil materials as main ingredients,by using industrial waste materials to replace partially raw soil and to add cementing materials,light fiber and other materials,from the aspects of process route,modified additives such as modification,to develop the best mix of various materials and matching,to improve its physical mechanical properties and thermal performance of raw soil materials.In keeping the traditional style of huizhou traditional folk houses,under the premise of continuation of traditional form,integrated with traditional technology practice of main structure which comprises the wall body and the roof,by use of modified materials developed,the paper discussed the technology of update and modification on wall and roof,analyzed and summarized the keeping warm and thermal insulation performance related wall and roof after transform.For ease of construction,the construction technology how the modified clay material was filled was studied,and has carried on the experimental study,the effect of improvement was detected by using filling modified clay material.Through the improvement of outer window in traditional folk houses,with the help of computer simulation technology,by using ventilation and lighting simulation software,the paper discussed on opening dimensions and location of the outside window,to analyze,optimize the indoor ventilation and lighting of traditional folk houses.Finally,the paper analyzed and compared the effect of appropriate technology which improved and promoted indoor thermal comfort environment on traditional folk houses.
