The new generation of migrant workers has become the main body of the migrant workers,and the problem of migrant workers related to China's 21st century development goals' achievement,that concerns the construction of a comprehensive well-off society and the overall development of urban and rural.In the new historical period,the new generation of migrant workers and the older generation of employment of migrant workers exists what kind of difference,and why the new generation have these difference,what kinds of factor and what is the mechanism of these factors to the difference compose the main target and content of this dissertation.1.The main contentThe thesis mainly consists of five parts:(1)After define the concept of the new generation of farmers,a new generation of migrant workers employment status quo,including its employment size,employment structure,the overall income level,employment stability,job search and employment of the new generation of migrant workersthe way its significant non-formal sector employment characteristics were analyzed and summarized.(2)Comparison of the generation of migrant workers and the older generation of migrant workers employment behavior.New and old generations of migrant workers in their employment conditions,issued by the external environment for employment,compared internal and external conditions of employment difference of two generations of migrant workers employment.Compare the differences of the new and old generations of migrant workers in the concept of employment and career choices and job mobility.(3)Analysis of the main factors of the new generation of migrant workers' employment behavior.Include:analysis from the total amount and structure of two aspects of the macroeconomic impact of the new generation of employment of migrant workers;from the perspective of the social security system,social relief system and legal system,policies and regulations on the employment of the new generation of migrant workers;mainstream culture and subculture generation of migrant workers employment;occupational conditions,occupational mobility,the concept of employment and human capital factors such as employment generation of migrant workers.(4)The design of the questionnaire survey and empirical analysis on the generation of migrant workers employment behavior.Describes the basic information and general characteristics of questionnaire design on the new generation of migrant workers in Chongqing Municipality,and the empirical regression analysis main factors affecting the income of the new generation of migrant workers,using the method of factor analysis on the employment environment of the new generation of migrant workers and the protection of an empirical study.(5)On the basis of the status quo and empirical research,the influence mechanism of generation of migrant workers employment behavior influencing factors were analyzed and summarized.Summarizes the economic level and structure of urban integration,the mechanism of employment rights and interests and public service policies,labor market supply and demand,cultural and organizational environment,government action and personal behavior of various factors on the behavior of the new generation of employment of migrant workers.2.The main conclusions(1)The new generation of migrant workers has become the main force of migrant workers,but on the whole,they are low-income and their career path is narrow.The new generation of migrant workers has become the main body of the migrant workers.Compared with the older generation of migrant workers,the new generation of migrant workers more inclined to choose a more decent,more secure and promising jobs,higher concentration degree in the non-public enterprises.The new generation migrant workers have relatively low income levels;nearly half of them are not satisfied with the level of current income.They are passing through a single narrow employment,employment opportunities,acquaintances are still the main channel of the new generation of migrant workers to obtain employment information.There are still a larger proportion of them in the informal channels of employment.Personal characteristics,human capital,industry and occupation,affect whether they are engaged in informal employment.(2)Compared with the older generation of migrant workers,there exist a lot of positive changes in the new generation of migrant workers in conditions of employment,the concept of employment,occupational choice,and the job mobility.The educational level of the new generation of migrant workers is higher,and they have literacy skills,strong ability to adapt and more easily to accept the knowledge of education and training.As the concept of employment,the old generation values the rural home and countryside much more than the new generation.The new generation lack of a sense of spirit,and generally have higher career expectations.The older generation of migrant workers is general in the service sector of the tertiary industry,while the proportions of new generation of migrant workers are bigger in the manufacturing industry.Two generations of migrant workers' job mobility differences is mainly in the mobility,although they are all instability,but the new generation of migrant workers'job mobility is more frequent.(3)Macroeconomic environment,regulatory environment,social and cultural environment,macro-environmental factors have different levels of impact on the employment of migrant workers.Public policy,economic development,behavioral biases,the social environment are intertwined,resulting in the reality of the plight of the new generation of migrant workers employment process.The economic growth provides the necessary material basis for full employment,but also call for the quantity and quality requirements of labor.A sound social security system improves the quality of employment is an important way to maintain the new generation of migrant workers' rights and interests.There is a very important role in the social assistance system for optimizing resource allocation and achieve social equity,and guarantee the basic living needs of the poor groups in the generation of migrant workers,maintaining social stability.The continuous development and improvement of the legal system can fundamentally protect the legitimate rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers,and create a favorable external environment,so that the employment behavior tends to rational.In policy factors,the dual economic structure as the core of the household registration system,the root causes of barriers to employment for migrant workers,the new generation of employment of migrant workers is still in a weak position.In the economic factor,the economic contribution of the new generation of migrant workers and their reward is asymmetry,and the results of allocations assigned are unreasonable.In Behavioral factors,governmental guiding play important role in the employment options of the new generation of migrant workers.But the government's labor market segmentation behavior hinder the new generation of migrant workers to choose a high-level employment.In social environmental factors,the dislocation of labor market supply and demand market environment caused by high-level vacancies,most of the new generation of migrant workers is at low wages and poor conditions of low level equilibrium situation.Cultural environment,and public opinion "demonized" and "stigma" for the new generation of migrant workers bring employment exclusion,narrow social network of new generation of migrant workers,and bring the plight of the employment development.(4)The concept of employment and human capital,occupational conditions and treatment and employment mobility has a broad impact on the employment of migrant workers behavior.The new generation of migrant workers conditions continue to improve,but unfavorable factors such as the exclusion of the public,the household registration system and segmentation of labor market institutions still exist in a period of time.To change the conditions of employment of the new generation of migrant workers is needed.From Career choice and treatment point of view,the new generation of migrant workers are mainly industrial workers,the tendency of their career choice is"development",their income level is not high,and employment security are faced with discrimination,employment disadvantaged position is still evident.Besides introduced through friends and relatives or fellow recommended,Internet,television,print media exist to broaden the channels of their employment,their job mobility is more active and frequent jobless stable.(5)The traditional human capital accumulation factors such as education level,length of service and training,significantly affecting migrant workers income level;migrant workers overall satisfaction can be portrayed by four factors:the household overall satisfaction degree,working conditions,staff care and blessing,career development.Level of education,working hours per day,total migrant workers,and the job training satisfaction rather than wage income,are significant positive correlation with their income,while the training frequency was no significant correlate with their income.The results of job satisfaction factor analysis summarized four factors reflect the migrant workers satisfaction,they are family and the factor of the overall level of satisfaction,working conditions factor,the staff care and welfare factors and look forward to the career development and understanding factors.They clarify the policy direction to improve the environmental conditions and security conditions of the employment of migrant workers.3.The innovationsThe main innovations include:(1)Analyze the behavioral characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers,summarize and compare the differences in behavioral characteristics of new and old generations of migrant workers employment,make further analysis on basis of previous studies,the new generation of migrant workers employment characteristics and make marginal contribution.(2)Make analysis on related factors on the employment behavior of the new generation of migrant workers,using the micro survey data,make econometric and statistical analysis on overall satisfaction factor affect their income.And make a factor analysis on the overall satisfaction of the new generation of employment of migrant workers.With confirmed and inspiring conclusions,the dissertation laid a positive foundation for policy recommendations.
