In today's world,the speed of technological advancement is unprecedented.Scientific and technological innovation has become the decisive force to promote economic and social development and improve the country's overall national strength.Some important scientific problems and harbingers of revolutionary breakthroughs in critical core technology fields have emerged.The world has entered an era of unprecedented innovation-intensive and industrial transformation,and human beings are experiencing a global technological revolution.In the increasingly fierce international scientific and technological competition pattern,the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River,which are the growth poles of China's central economic development,should take the initiative to shoulder the mission,actively respond to the national strategy,accelerate the integration into the global innovation network,and accelerate the formation of new advantages of science and technology opening up to the world.The construction of the Science and Technology Innovation Center will open a new journey for global urban development and made new contributions to the Chinese dream of building an upgraded version of China's economy and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The purpose of this thesis is to deconstruct the innovation system into two subsystems of demand and supply,and introduce the theories and methods of synergy,system-network dynamics and complex adaptive systems,and fully reveal the spatial evolution mechanism of the coupled supply-demand interaction of the innovation system in the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River.The evolution mechanism is to interpret the spatial synergistic evolution law of urban innovation supply and demand system,analyze the influence mechanism of urban innovation supply and demand system coupling synergy,and simulate the synergistic growth trend of innovative supply and demand system.Therefore,it solves the problem of lack of system coupling synergy and evolution mechanism analysis in current innovation research,and provides technical support and theoretical guidance to the innovative development of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,Wuhan City Circle in and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,Changsha,Zhuzhou and Xiangtan City Group and the Poyang Lake City Group,as well as the construction of National' s Innovation Center.The main contents of the thesis include the following aspects:(1)The measurement of the development level of the innovative supply and demand system of urban agglomerations contains two sub-problems.The first is the decomposition of the structure of innovative supply and demand subsystems,and the second is the method of measuring the level of development.For the decomposition of the structure of innovative supply and demand subsystems,this thesis considers the indicators and methods commonly used in urban/regional innovation system analysis,such as innovation input,innovation output,innovation environment,innovation culture,innovation policy,etc.Structural characteristics.Reflecting the structural characteristics of the innovative supply and demand system of urban agglomerations from various angles.The method of measuring the level of development is directly related to the accuracy of the interpretation of the evolution law of the supply and demand system of urban agglomerations.From the perspective of research objects,including urban innovation supply systems and urban innovation demand systems;from the perspective of research content,the urban innovation supply system structure includes “innovation resources(human,capital)supply”,“innovation policy supply”,“innovation culture supply” and other aspects,and the urban innovation demand system structure includes “innovation industry demand” and“innovative social needs”and other aspects.Therefore,this thesis constructs a multi-objective,multi-scale,multi-level metric indicator system for the development level of supply and demand systems in the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River,and evaluates its effectiveness.(2)Discovering the current situation of the collaborative development of urban agglomeration innovation supply and demand system is the starting point of this thesis.The evolution law analysis of urban cluster innovation supply and demand system includes the growth of time scale and the regional difference of spatial scale.Therefore,based on the development process of the innovative supply and demand system of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in the past 20 years,this thesis clarifies the spatial pattern and regional type of the coordinated development of the supply and demand system of urban agglomerations in the new era,and diagnoses and analyzes the problems.Then it provides a realistic basis and lessons for the theoretical design and route selection of the coordinated development of the supply and demand system space in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,especially the Wuhan City Circle.To this end,this issue is mainly studied:(1)Study on the Dual Structure of the innovative supply and demand system in the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River;(2)Comparative study on the development of innovative supply and demand systems for urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River;(3)Study on the spatial pattern and regional type of collaborative development of innovative supply and demand systems in the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River;(4)Characteristic rule extraction and problem diagnosis for collaborative development of innovative supply and demand system in the mid-stream urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River.(3)According to the theory of complex adaptive systems,the elements of the system—the subject is active and adaptable,the competitive mechanism and the random mechanism exist in the subject association,as well as the interaction and mutual cooperation between the subject and the subject,the subject and the environment are systems are the dynamics of system evolution.Therefore,the fundamental driving force for the evolution of the urban agglomeration innovation supply and demand system lies in the correlation and causal feedback between the supply subsystem and the demand subsystem.To this end,this thesis uses System Dynamics and Grey Correlation Method to reveal the coupling mechanism of innovative supply and demand system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,clarify the demand constraint factor of supply system development and the supply stress factor of demand system development,as well as the spatial feedback relationship between supply and demand(mechanism layer).(4)A major criterion for applied research is the ability to use the representation to dialysis the mechanism and predict the future.The simulation study of the urban agglomeration innovation system mainly includes two aspects: First,the space simulation of urban agglomeration innovation supply system based on GIS-CA model;The second is the development forecast of the urban agglomeration innovation demand system based on the SD Model.The formulation of simulation rules requires not only the general growth rules obtained from the dynamic evolution analysis of the system,but also the development characteristics of the real city innovation system itself.It simulates the spatial development of the urban agglomeration innovation system in the self-organized operation state and other organization control from different aspects and multiple scenarios,then proposes corresponding spatial regulation strategies.Through the research work in the above aspects,this thesis mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)In the aspect of spatial and temporal evolution of the urban innovation supply system,from the perspective of urban agglomerations,the development of the innovative supply system for the urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has steadily increased in generally from 2000 to 2015.It can be divided into three development stages: the initial development stage(2000-2005),the rapid development stage(2005-2010)and the steady upward stage(2010-2015).From the perspective of the cities,the overall optimization of the innovation supply system of the cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is increasing continuously.At the same time,the regional differences are large,and the spatial siphon effect is remarkable.The pyramid structure with Wuhan as the core is gradually highlighting.(2)In the aspect of time and space evolution of urban innovation demand system,from the perspective of urban agglomerations,the development of the innovation demand system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has shown a rapid upward development trend in generally from 2000 to 2015,which can be divided into two major stages: there is a slow development stage from 2000 to 2005;and there is a rapid rise stage from 2005 to 2015.From the perspective of the cities,the innovation demand systems of the cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River continue to grow,and the development rate is relatively consisten.However,the inter-city differences are large,and the polarization is significant.The evolution from the core edge pattern to the bipolar pattern is obvious.(3)In the aspect of space-time allometric growth of urban innovative supply and demand system,from the perspective of urban agglomerations,the innovation demand system will increase by 0.84 units when the innovation supply system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River increase one unit,and the urban innovation supply-demand system is uncoordinated.From the perspective of the cities,in the 28 cities of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,most of the urban innovation supply systems are faster than the demand system from 2000 to 2015,and within the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,the relative development degree of urban innovation demand systems and supply systems is quite complicated and cannot be unified.(4)In the aspect of time and spatial patterns of coupling degree of urban innovation supply and demand system,from the perspective of urban agglomerations,the coordination curve of the innovation supply and demand system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River also showed a steady growth trend in 15 years,and the development type also developed from imbalance to quality coordination,indicating that the innovative supply system of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has promoted the society economic development.Although the demand system still has obvious lag,but the two show a good coordinated development picture.From the perspective of the cities,the coupling degree curves show a sharp decline to the rising trend of volatility,and the spatial differences are significant,forming a relatively contiguous space plate,and showing a "differentiation-concentration" situation.(5)In the aspect of time and space evolution of urban-rural innovation supply-demand system coordination,in the 15 years of development of 28 cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,the timing development curve of the coordination of innovation supply and demand system in half of the cities has risen in a straight line,and the timing development curve of the innovation supply and demand system coordination rate in half of the cities has risen rapidly after a slight decline,which is relatively consistent with the coupling degree curve.The coordination degree of the innovative supply and demand system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River also experienced a transition from the violent fluctuation phase(2000-2005)to the rapid rise(2005-2015).At the same time,there is little difference in the development of the coordination degree of the innovation supply and demand system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,which also forms a relatively contiguous plate structure.(6)In the aspect of influence mechanism,in the comprehensive effect mechanism of the urban agglomeration demand system on the supply system in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,the economic structure and social life have the most obvious effect on the supply system;while the nine subsystems in the supply system of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River have a strong role in promoting the demand system.However,at different time points,different supply system elements have different effects on the demand system.(7)In the system dynamics analysis of the collaborative evolution mechanism of urban innovation supply and demand system,this thesis finds that the urban innovation supply and demand system of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has formed a complex and non-linear multiple feedback coupling system through interaction.There are complex mutual constraints,mutual promotion and interaction between different elements and elements in the urban innovation supply and demand system.
