Original Contribution Research On Xi Jinping’s Targeted Poverty Alleviation Strategy

Poverty is a common challenge faced by countries around the world in their economic and social development.Poverty,along with issues such as hunger,disease,and social conflicts triggered by poverty,seriously hampers humanity’s pursuit of a better life.Therefore,addressing and eliminating poverty have become significant topics for promoting global development.China used to be one of the developing countries with the largest number of poor people,the Communist Party of China,as a responsible and large party,has considered the pursuit of happiness for the people as its mission from the day of its establishment.It has united and led the masses to make unremitting efforts to eliminate poverty and lead a happy and beautiful life.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,has attached great importance to the issue of poverty,incorporating poverty alleviation and development into the overall layout of the "The Five-sphere Integrated Plan " and "The Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy".Based on long-term and in-depth thinking about poverty alleviation and development,Xi Jinping has conducted numerous researches visits to poverty-stricken areas,delivered a series of important speeches,and profoundly elucidated major theoretical and practical issues related to poverty alleviation and development in China’s new era.This has resulted in the formulation of an original strategic thought centered on precision poverty alleviation.It represents a major theoretical innovation in poverty alleviation and development in China and guides innovation in China’s poverty alleviation practices with new poverty alleviation theories.As a result,China achieved a comprehensive victory in poverty alleviation in 2020,historically eliminating absolute poverty.As the latest achievement in the localization of Marxist anti-poverty theory in China,Xi Jinping’s strategy of targeted poverty alleviation has attracted widespread attention and research from domestic and international academia in recent years.Scholars from various disciplines such as economics,political science,and management have conducted detailed research on Xi Jinping’s strategy of targeted poverty alleviation,yielding fruitful results.However,there has been relatively little research on the original contributions of Xi Jinping’s strategy of targeted poverty alleviation,and further in-depth research is needed.This paper,from the perspective of the localization of Marxism in China,employs research methods that combine historical analysis,interdisciplinary research,normative research,and empirical research.It provides an overview of the relevant concepts,international background,objective basis,historical logic,and the formation and development of Xi Jinping’s original contributions to the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation.The paper comprehensively and systematically discusses Xi Jinping’s original contributions to the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation from four aspects:ideological resources,empirical foundations,theoretical innovation,and practical innovation.In the final chapter,the paper summarizes the contemporary significance of Xi Jinping’s original contributions to the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation from the perspectives of theoretical value and practical value.Specifically,the paper is structured into seven sections.Chapter One is the Introduction.This section primarily introduces the research background and significance of this thesis,the current state of domestic and international research,research approach and methods,as well as the innovations and limitations of the thesis.It provides the basic logical starting point for further in-depth research in the thesis.Chapter Two explains the related issues of the Original contribution research on Xi Jinping’s targeted poverty alleviation strategy.This chapter provides an overview of the relevant concepts,international background,objective basis,historical logic,and the formation and development of the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation.The paper explains the concepts of poverty,poverty alleviation,targeted poverty alleviation,and poverty alleviation efforts.It discusses the international and domestic background for the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation.The moderately prosperous society and a harmonious society,and the notion of helping the needy and promoting education as poverty alleviation principles.Finally,it explores foreign theories on poverty alleviation,including theories related to poverty culture,human capital,multidimensional poverty,and inclusive development.Chapter Four is the substantial evidence of Xi Jinping’s Original Contributions to the Strategy of Targeted Poverty Alleviation.This chapter primarily covers six aspects: first,it discusses the unclear statistics on poverty alleviation recipients by examining the
