The Research On Subway Traffic During Construction Demand Forecast

In order to alleviate the traffic pressure on economic development, subway has become a public transport system which is planned and constructed with a huge investment in many big cities.But now in the process of subway construction, a series of problems caused by it ,such as road resources and traffic chaos, have lead to traffic congestion of urban road and pressure on urban traffic. This paper mainly researches on the traffic forecasts in the process of the subway construction. The paper also provides some valuable suggestions for the managers to make scientifical traffic policies and take traffic control measures. These suggestions will play a leading role in the successful completion of subway construction.This article analyses impact on urban traffic and traffic environmental features in subway construction, based on the description of traffic demand forecast status at home and abroad;Then the article sums up the traffic demand forecasting ways commonly used, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the commonly used ways. And it improves the base year OD trip distribution and mode split matrix in the subway construcion combined with the traffic impact characteristics and the traditional traffic demand forecast based on four-stage method , and constructs the demand forecasting methods in subway construction; Finally it takes the ongoing construction of the Changsha City Metro Line 2 as an example and uses traffic demand to improve model for the uses of traffic demand forecasting. And the article analyzes and evaluate the results, and maps out traffic ease programs of Changsha City Subway Line 2.This paper focuses on the traffic demand forecasting methods in subway construction, and verifies the practicality of the methods in case of subway construction in Changsha.
