Development Strategy Research Of Space Structure In Small And Medium Cities On Basis Of Symbiosis Theory

Twenty-first century is called"an urban century". The rapid urbanization and various urban problems have become the most severe challenges. The urban spatial expansion resulted from the urbanization lead to the change of urban spatial structure. In 2010, by number one document, central government takes loosing residence restriction on small and medium-sized cities. The increasing population results in continuous expansion of urban space, thus the development of small and medium-sized cities plays an important role in the process of urbanization, however, there are some issues in the spatial structure. Therefore it is significant to study the development of spatial structure and sustainability.Symbiosis theory, as a sustainable developing biological theory, has been applied in multiple disciplines and theoretical system has a positive effect on constructing more scientific academic frame in applied sciences. By introducing symbiosis theory into urban planning, we can install a spatial structure"symbiotic system", analyze dynamic mechanism and proposal the measures of development, contributing a lot to the urban planning and construction.Firstly, this paper analysis the relative study of the symbiosis theory to appreciate the general situation of urban spatial structure. Then make a summary to the system of symbiosis theory, following by the analysis of the spatial structure development and articulation of application of symbiosis theory in the spatial structure. Based on the symbiosis system built by the symbiosis theory and with the purpose of clearing the level and structure of symbiosis system and correlation of functional division , three symbiosis elements and interfaces are analyzed as well as a further study on the dynamical mechanism, regional symbiosis characteristics and the existing problems.Finally, based on the symbiotic system of spatial structure and taking ShangZhi City as the practice object and using the symbiosis theory, this paper also makes a study on the development strategy of urban spatial structure to provide theoretical basis for the spatial development of small and medium-sized cities.
