A Research On The Sustainable Utilization Of Water Resources In Dunhuang City

Water is not only the rudimental dependence of economic development of Dunhuang city, but also is one of the most brisk factors on ecological environment. With the economic development of Dunhuang city, the utilization intensity of Water resources in Dunhuang city becomes greater and greater, which caused ground water level to fall and ecological environment to deteriorate continuously, as well as posed menace to regional sustainable development. In these circumstances, the sustainable utilization of water resources in Dunhuang city has been researched in this paper.The city's society, economy, resources and environment, water resources development present situation are discussed in detail this study. On this basis, according to the building principal on index system about related district water resources sustainable, the assessment index system is build for the city's water resources sustainable utilization, combined the city's especial conditions. The index system consists of 3 levels including goal level; subsystem level and index level totally 25 basic levels. The water resourcessustainable utilization index system is studied through multistage fuzzy judge model. Each stage index system weight is determined by AHP. The sustainable development capability of basic index is divided into 5 grades standard including very weak, weaker, medium, stronger and very strong. Excel calculates the data and consistency examination of judgment matrix in AHP is completed. Sustainable subordinate degree of each level index in Dunhuang city's water resources sustainable utilization assessment index system is determined. The study results are as following: the city's water resources sustainable utilizing situation is weaker and it is in weak tendency stage. At last, the paper analyses existent sustainable utilization t problem in Dunhuang city's water resources sustainable development and utilization. Combined the city's resources advantage, the suggestion and countermeasure are proposed for the city's sustainable development with water resources sustainable development as core and district sustainable development as goal.
