Water is valuable resources that humankind and society development rely on, fresh water crisis is often heard from many places of world, people are required to understand and analyse water problems on higher levels from altitude of continuable development according to the strain position of water resources.On the basis of actuality of exploitation and management of water resources of Zhejiang province, on the basis of the water crisis which might appear due to the increased need of water according to the development of economy and population, the article put forward the necessary study of sustainable water resources utilization of Zhejiang province, a case study is given.The content of study: first, the article tell of actuality of water resources of Zhejiang province, include distributing and exploitation and existent problems of water resources; in the second part, analysis and forecast of supply and need of various usable water resources is given; in the third part, some evaluations of water resources is given, first evaluation is the degree of exploitation of water resources, the result based on ratio of local fetch water of actuality years average and the total volumn of local freshwater of years average, the degree is divided into three types (high, midde and low), the second evaluation is the frangibility of water resouces, a method of five alarm lamps which is invented by Gleik of Amecian is used, the third evaluation is continuable utilization of water resources, include monomial evaluation and integrative evaluation, in monomial evaluation a system which is put forwarded by Feng hai-xia is used, water resources of a certain place is evaluated by an integrative index. in integrative evaluation, a system put forwarded by Xu liang-fang is used to evaluate continuable utilization of water resources of eleven regions and data of 2003 is used, the author modify the system properly according to actuality of Zhejiang province, and confirm proportion of each index with the method of strata sequence analysis; the fourth part is evaluation of water environment, in the end, the author put forward countermeasures of continuable utilization of water resources of Zhejiang province according to the result of evaluation.
