The Research On The Evaluation Of Controller's Workload

The workload of air traffic controllers and capacity evaluation based on it were deeplyanalyzed from the aspects of theory and practice. The development of air transportation in Chinawas firstly introduced, then the definition of workload of ATCs and the current situation of studyon it were construed. After that, the factors impact the workload of ATCs and its classificationwere discussed, the model of evaluation based on it was established, the specific method ofevaluating the workload of ATCs was implemented, and based on real data from GuangZhouairspace, the workload of ATCs of different sectors was conducted with the model presentedbefore. Then the capacity evaluation based on the workload of ATCs was discussed in succession.Finally, the comparison of subjective method and objective method of evaluating workload ofATCs was constructed, and the correctness of the method of evaluation was validated.
