The Marine distribution equipment is an important component of the marine power system, which mainly distributes electric energy, and monitor, control and protect electric equipment. The work condition of the distribution equipment is worse. If the distribution equipment breaks down and the fault does not been resolved in time, the fault will threaten to personal and equipment security. The paper just solves this problem and concerned about monitoring system and ground. The thesis is form "Marine Electrical Module Research", which is a sub-project "200000 tons of FPSO" made by the state Economy and Trade Commision and supported by the tenth five-year national project for developing great technical and equipment.The monitoring system is made up of hardware and software. The hardware is foundation of the monitoring system. Base on Hall effect of Hall component, the paper develops an Integrated Hall sensor which can measure current, voltage and electric power, designs signal conditioning circuit and set up the data acquisition system using PC and DAQ card. The software is a key to the monitoring system. This paper develop the monitoring software on LabVIEW including data acquisition module, data processing module, data display module, fault judge module, data store module, sound alarm module and parameter configure module, etc., design the database system for storing and managing data and fault alarm information, and research the network communication. The monitoring system designed in the paper monitors the operation states and parameters of the distribution equipment in real time. When the distribution equipment breaks down, the monitoring system give an alarm by the way of sound and light automatically, print alarm information and write it into database.The paper has carried on experiment of sensor calibrate and simulation experiment of monitoring system. The calibrate result is the linear degree of both sensor is less than 1% and meet designing requirement; The simulation experimental result is that the measure error is less than 1% and meet designing requirement. The results of experiment indicates that monitoring system work correctly, the precision the precision is relatively high, meet the anticipated goal.
