Under the short of land and other resources, the production and development of high-rise residences is the inevitable choice that mankind pursue resource used fully and solve the contradiction of human living and environmental demand, and promote development of high-efficiency city. Pursuing high efficiency under specified conditions and factors is the original intention of high-rise residences' appearance. But, There is always lack of whole efficiency-design idea in the development of them at present, Efficiency design always be ignored by designers. So seeking high-rise residences' efficiency is a important subject that has theory and practice meaning in the climax period of dwelling construction in our country. As master's thesis, this dissertation pay attention to the core of high-rise residences design—the standard floor design, get rid of traditional limitation of efficiency view , explore the idea, principle and method of high-efficiency high-rise residences that is under the guidance of sustainable development principle , pay attention to fair, use the social resource initially and high-efficiently, pursue maximal building economy and health environment rationally, improve society, environment and economy comprehensive efficiency and benefit.At first, article starts with definition, design principles and influence factors of the idea of the efficiency design of the standard floor of high-rise residences by the primitive concept of efficiency, the economic expression and efficiency and fair principle; Then article analyze and search after the scale, form and structure of the standard floor and efficiency separately and attempt to seek the design methods of them from these two respects; Finally , article define this important theory and practice meaning in efficiency design, generalize and sum up design method , analyzing and look into the development trend of the efficiency design of high-rise residences in the future.The thesis focuses on the tactics and methods of the efficiency design of the standard floor of high-rise residences. The article discuss the scale, form and the structure characteristic and ways of efficiency optimization design by the analysis, calculation and statistics of plenty of examples, striving to play a certain guidance role on it.This thesis analyses and solves the problem of the standard floor design of high-rise residences in terms of building efficiency, building technology economy with abrand-new view. There is certain reference function on other building types and environment design by this kind of design method. The results of this thesis' research will offer some meaningful theoretical foundations, practices consulting function and using value for the problem in efficiency of the architectural design in the future.
