Assessment Of Water Resource's Sustainable Utilization And Corresponding Countermeasures In Interlacing Agro-Pastural Region Of North Shaanxi

Water resource is very precious as natural resource in that it is the foundation of human's survival and development and the basic element of ecological construction, and meanwhile, it has great significance for that it is an organic part of an nation's comprehensive power. Along with the development of society and economy, the need for water has become higher and higher and many countries have already sunk into the predicament of water shortage. In the agro-pasture zigzag zone of Shaanxi province, the water shortage is so serious that it has influenced the economic and social development significantly, especially as an important resources base of the province or even the whole country. Because of the climate and geography and other factors, the environment of the region has always been feeble, soil erosion and desertification is becoming more and more serious. In order to improve the ecological environment, the way that can solve the water shortage must be found as soon as possible. Based on the brief analysis on index system and method of assessment on water resource's sustainable utilization, combined the current situation of society, economy, environment and water resource's exploitation and utilization in this region (2004), the sustainable extent of water resource's utilization was researched:(1) Based on the scarcity of water resource, the dissertation brought forward the great significance of research on sustainable problems;According to sustainable ideology, the content of water resource's sustainable utilization was analyzed.(2) By collecting the condition of natural geography, society and economy, water resource and it's exploitation and utilization in 2004 and current irrigation project, the characteristic of water resource's exploitation and utilization in agro-pasture zigzag zone of Shaanxi was summarized.(3) Obeying the comprehensive, systematic, scientific and operable principles, the evaluating index system and the model of sustainable utilization of water resource is established from water resource's natural supply, exploitation and utilization, the extent of contenting society and economy, and coordination in ecosystem.(4) The sustainable degree of water resource's utilization of the six counties in agro-pasture zigzag zone of Shaanxi was evaluated and the assessment results were verified...
