The Research On Pilotage Management Informantion System Of Ningbo Pilot Station

With the ongoing development of the Ningbo port, Ningbo Pilot Station meets a huge challenge to its pilotage management since it needs to pilot over 80 ships everyday. Traditional management could merely meet the needs of enlarging business. Therefore, it will make significant contribution to the port to study the management system of Ningbo Pilot Station.The main line of this thesis is the construction of pilotage management information system (MIS). I (or we) made extensive investigation, research, and analysis on the modern pilotage management using substantial evidence method. I (or we) found out several problems in the current MIS and proposed a new system to solv-e the existing problems. Based on modern MIS theories and business system planing (BSP) method, the new system would use Business system planning to reconstruct the business process. This thesis also elaborated a technique route to fulfill the new system and a complete solution to the existing problems. Finally, the MIS will be carried out by using the method of OOP system analysis and design.This thesis is a beneficial to research and practice about how to construct the management information system in Ningbo pilot station. The Management infom-ation system of pilotage management is running in order to be tested. It will be put into using broadly in future.
