Starting with analyzing the actuality of building's energy consumption and the development of evaluation criterion for building's energy conservation at home and abroad, this thesis points out the necessity of office building's energy conservation.Secondly, this thesis makes a brief introduction about development trend of office buildings in Europe and China, and discusses the energy conservation measures for office buildings from six aspects including its sites, types, facades, envelops, natural ventilation and renewable energy usage etc.. Subsequently, as far as areas characterized in hot summer and cold winter zone are concerned, the thesis makes evaluation for the use of energy conservation measures referred above in the specific areas. Moreover, some softwares used for energy conservation such as PBEC and Doe2IN are adopted to help simulate and calculate in the process of analyzing different tectonic practices in heat preservation and sunshield, so that it can form useful conclusions to guide design work for architects.At last, through analysis on the case of Buiding for Zhejiang Cindy Group Headquarters, the thesis makes general evaluation for the energy conservation measures taken in this building and its effects based on the simulation and calculation with the Doe2IN software.
