The Study And Review Of Redevelopment In Ruhr Industrial Heritage Site

The industrial heritage site is an important part of urban redevelopment. This thesis make the biggest industrial area in Germany, Ruhr industrial heritage sites to be the research object, and briefly review the history of Ruhr area and the background of the redevelopment, and then summarize large amount of redevelopment cases in Ruhr area industrial heritage sites. The thesis have put particular emphasis on the middle level research which go through the whole process of the redevelopment of Ruhr area industrial heritage sites. From making Ruhr area as the example, the thesis discussed the internal power and the corresponding design strategy, including material strategy and immaterial strategy. It also systematicly elaborated the value orientation, management mechanism, execution approach and the policy guarantee etc. So the research can provide us a more meaningful reference and train of thought to our country's redevelopment of city industrial heritage sites, which is also the important meaning of the research.
