| The urban road traffic accidents directly affect and restrict the development of the urban transport,and badly threaten the people's life and possession.To improve the road safe performance and reduce the traffic accidents, the corresponding evaluation shall be made objectively first to the urban road safety, then the disposal scheme shall be worked out to improve the traffic environment and promote the road transportation operation benefit.Urban road traffic safety evaluation aims at making a comprehensive and objective estimate of the different cites during certain period. Finds problems and provides urban road traffic safety with corresponding solutions by analyzing and estimating.In this paper, urban road traffic safety is considered an integrated system. Firstly, study the factors which affect urban road traffic safety in macroscopic and microcosmic aspect, and then set up a comprehensive evaluation index system of urban road traffic safety.11 one level indexs and 40 two level indexs are included in the evaluation index system. Then, the weights of every index were made out by AHP, and fuzzy math method was chosen to set up a two-grade fuzzy synthetic evaluation model of urban road traffic safety to evaluate the safety of urban road traffic.At last, the practically value of the study of the founded evaluation system and the evaluation model were proved by the example of Liuzhou urban road safety.
