With the development of technology of computer and electronic control, and the high demand to synthetical performance of the diesel engine, the electronic control technology is important way to develop and the electronic control system is a standard configuration of advanced diesel engine. The favorable matching of the diesel engine and its electronic control system is the problem of necessary solution. The traditional way is that they adjust and control function, law of control and parameter of the system on test stand for electronic governor experiment to ensure performance theory content to design demand, which has many defections such as long cycle, high cost, dangerous work condition and the limit parameter can't be test. Therefore, on basis of 16V396TE94 diesel engine produced by MTU company, this text presents the resoluble scheme about hardware-in-the-loop simulation for diesel electronic control system with modeling and simulation technology on dSPACE system.This text mainly concerns about the following: understand the technology characteristic about stimulated object of diesel engine and its electronic control system, and choose right mathematic model; based on technology parameter and test data of the diesel engine, build the whole simulation model ( including turbocharger model, cooler model, diesel engine model, fuel supply system model and speed control system model ) with the modeling and simulation software of MATLAB/Simulink, and the simulated model runs off line; the simulated model of the diesel engine is downloaded to the dSPACE system with C code, and connected to the electronic control technology of diesel engine( ECS ), and realize hardware-in-the-loop simulation for diesel electronic control system on dSPACE.Based on different running condition of diesel engine this text has a test separately off line and in real-time, observe the law of changing that the parameters of rotate speed of diesel engine and displacement of rack change with time. Through contrasting, the simulated results are accorded with the tested data, so it indicates that the mathematic and simulated model of building and simulated calculate measure are right and feasible. This simulated system is provided with many merits that perfect function, test conveniently, triable in limit condition and parameter, low cost, short cycle, and adapt different engine type through amending model and correlative parameter. Developing the system provides a well flatform of adjustment and test for researching and producing the electronic control technology of diesel engine.
