Study And Application Of Outfitting Process Lane Based On Lean Shipbuilding

As an essential step in shipbuilding, the running quality of outfitting process not only has direct effect on the production efficiency of shipbuilding, but also affect largely the shipbuilding cycle, especially the dock cycle. In recent years, to improve the market competitiveness, most domestic shipbuilding enterprises, shifting from traditional to modern shipbuilding mode, are committing themselves to the study of shorten shipbuilding cycle and have achieved a certain degree of good results. However existing research focus on hull block work, outfitting process is becoming one of the main factors of restricting further shortening the duck cycle. In regard to this, this paper first employs the theory of systems engineering to make deep and thorough search and analysis of potential bottlenecks in the outfitting process. Then, on the basis of it, combining with the production practice of certain domestic shipyard, using the principle of lean production, structural theory and method of lane build, study and analysis are carried out on the technique of outfitting process lane from the angle of view of each phase of the outfitting process including outfitting design, pre-outfitting and post-outfitting, etc. Focuses are laid in the main factors constraining the development of the outfitting process in domestic shipbuilding enterprises and the optimization and innovation in the production flow reorganization, production organization method and information management. These work will have practical guiding significance for the high efficiency and the integration in pre-outfitting and for the equilibrium and the standardization in post-outfitting. Parts of research results proposed in this paper have been proven and can be a good reference for improving outfitting process in domestic shipbuilding enterprises.
