The Research And Applicace Of Outfitting In Lean Shipbuilding

During the process of modern shipbuilding, outfitting plays an important part in ship manufacturing, its operation quality not only directly affects the production efficiency, but also profoundly impacts on the shipbuilding cycle. Most of the emphasis was put on the hull operation in the past. We attribute our docking time cut to the advanced workmanships such as large-scale pre-erection, rapid erection and huge sections moving after pre-erection. On the contrary, so now the ship outfitting gradually becomes one of the main factors which could not further shorten the wharf cycle. Increasing amount of units making,.Improving the quality of pre-outfitting of blocks and sections, finishing outfitting work after launching in advance are essential for cutting construction time for the next time.Based on the factual situation of ship outfitting in a typical domestic shipbuilding enterprise, using the theories of lean ship, this article analyzes and works over the aspects of ship outfitting operation from the outfitting design, the first outfitting and to the after outfitting etc., also gives some upswing ideas on the problems restrained the developments of ship outfitting, which may be helpful to many domestic shipbuilding factories to improve their outfitting integrities. This paper also puts some emphasis on the exploration of using "project management" in ships dock installing mooring test, so we can finish mooring test both in time and high quality, that makes quay time to be easily controlled. providing a new management idea for ships dock construction.
