With the large ships, multi-functional and energy efficiency of the development of ship power systems have become increasingly demanding, ship power system design is a most important part of ship design, advantage and stabilize of the ship power system design is directly related to the power supply continuity, economy, power quality, ensuring the ship electric equipment safe and reliable to work, thereby ensuring that the ship, cargo and personnel safety.In this thesis, emphasis the ship power system design and optimization of components selection. First, based on analysis of the "Yu Kun" ship power system, and the characteristics of the ship power system analyzed, electric switchboard functions and composition analyzed too. The power system designs with reference to "CCS steel ships into the Classification", and follow standards of convention. Functional and systematic design of ship power system and the practical application of marine training ship power station in Fujian. The main contents include:ship power system power supply unit selected; ship power system distribution equipment design and assembly; electrical switchboard schematic design. Switchboard of the main components used for marine international brand of Schneider Electric switches, with improved function (short delay, long delay, instantaneous, undervoltage, reverse power, interlock, etc), power management unit consists of Siemens PLC S7-200 and Denmark DEIF PPU to achieve generators automatic parallel, protection and automation management. Then, on the ship power system short circuit current calculation, power system protection equipment selected, and Schneider MerlinGerin brand Compact NS Series MCCB selection are discussed. And then, electric distribution diagram of ship power system designed, the power system layout drawing designed; marine cable selection and installation process discussed. Finally, ship's main switchboard and emergency switchboard trial carried out. This ship power system have perfect functions, to meet the "Certificate examination on competence, assessment and certification rules" and corresponding "normative assessment of marine simulator training." The design and layout of the power plant considered for use in teaching purposes, to fully demonstrate the manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic modes of operation, is currently more advanced marine training ship power station.
