Purpose:To investigate the relationship between thrombomodulin(TM) gene promoter methylation and acute coronary syndrome(ACS). Observation of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) with oral medicine therapy TM gene promoter methylation level in patients with phlegm turbidity and blood stasis type ACS.Method:Choose accord with phlegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome differentiation type of 60 acute coronary syndrome patients is set to the ACS group(unstable angina 30 cases, acute myocardial infarction 30 cases), selected 40 cases of healthy normal as normal group. All patients were confirmed by coronary angiography. For the treatment of ACS patients with percutaneous coronary intervention combined oral medicine a month, is set to the treatment group. By Methylation-Specific PCR detection of plasma TM gene promoter methylation of normal, ACS patients, and after treatment, comparing the TM gene promoter methylation level between the normal group and ACS group, the treatment group and the ACS group. Results:The ACS group TM gene promoter methylation rate is 43.3%(26/60), the normal group is 17.5%(7/40). The more similar between the two groups have statistical significance(P<0.05); The treatment group TM gene promoter methylation rate is 30%(18/60), compared with before treatment difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.TM gene promoter methylation of ACS patients was significantly higher than that of normal people, can determine that the plasma TM gene promoter methylation is associated with ACS.2. Percutaneous coronary intervention surgery combined oral medicine treatment can significantly decrease the level of TM gene promoter methylation in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Combining traditional chinese and western medicine treatment of acute coronary syndrome curative effect is distinct. It can reduce the TM gene promoter region methylation to play a role of anticoagulant by increasing TM gene expression, improving the function of the vascular endothelial, stabilizing atherosclerotic plaques.
