Sifting And Applying Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Perfusions On Fungal Mastitis In Dairy Cows

For the past few years, antibiotics, cortical hormone and immunodepressant were used widely in the cow. The incident of cow mastitis of fungus went up significantly, which absorbed our attention very much.In this experiment, 103 strains clinical mastitis pathogenic bacteria were isolated from clinical mastitis cow in Taian through antibacterial test, microscopic examination and biochemistry test. The proportion of Fungus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcusaureus and Streptococcus agalactiae were 11.65%,19.41%,17.47%and52.42%, respectively.24 herbs and four fungus (Blastomyces albicans, Candida tropicalis, C. krusei, Cryptococcus) were used in bacteriostasis experiment. The result showed that Huanglian,Shechuangzi and Dasuan had better inhibition activity on these four fungus. Five Chinese medicinal formulae were formed, and the best formulae was named"Ruyanxiao".The inhibition activity was detected by the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the formulae and the diffusion method of agar plate. The results showed that"ruyanxiao"inhibited the main pathogenic bacteria effectively. 0.1g/mL of formulae could inhibit Blastomyces albicans, Candida tropicalis and the fungus isolated from clinical mastitis cow (MIC was 0.0015g/mL). The diameter of inhibition zone was 30mm,27mm and 25mm respectively. It could also inhibit Escherichia coli and Staphylococcusaureus. The safety of"Ruyanxiao"was detected by anaphylaxis, haemolyticus, heat source detection and stimulatory experiment. The results showed that"ruyanxiao"was not sensitized, stimulant and toxiferous.18 Lactating dairy goats of similar milk production were divided randomly into 6 groups. Blastomyces albicans were injected into left breast of all the goats. Different concentrations of"Ruyanxiao"were injected into the beast of the goats from group one to group four. Group five was the positive control by injecting nothing, and group six was the negative control by injecting the equal physiological salt. The body temperature, milk Production and the enzyme content of whey were detected. The result showed that 0.025g/ml"Ruyanxiao"had a good therapeutic effect to the sick goats. The SA, ALT levels of whey after treatment were significant lower than that before treatment (P<0.05) and reached the level before inoculation. The LUD level of whey after treatment were also lower than that before treatment, but it was not significant (P>0.05)."Ruyanxiao"was used for 10 dairy cows infected by fungus form cow factory in Taian. Three days after treatment, swelling and distension was lighted and milk yield was recovered. The recovery rate was more than 90%.
