| To find out the character of main chemical components and taste quality of flue-cured tobacco grown in different ecological planting areas in Yunnan province,30 chemical components of 327 samples graded C3F from six ecological planting areas were analyzed with variance analysis,canonical correlation and stepwise regression method,and the distribution intervals and frequency of these chemical components was obtained,the character of these components and taste quality and main chemical components effecting taste were also found out. the main results were as follows:1.Yunnan tobacco leaf characterized rich sugar,its total sugar and reducing sugar were 30.96%and 26.81%respectively.And chlorine,TS-RS,potassium-chlorine ratio, nitrogen-nicotine ratio,starch and citric acid with CVs exceeded 30%were much effected by producing areas and ecological condition.2.There were significant difference of 29 chemical components except malic acid among six ecological tobacco planting areas.Compared with provincial means,reducing sugar, sugar-nicotine ratio,nitrogen-nicotine ratio of tobacco leaf from centre planting area were highest,and extraction of petroleum ether,nicotine and total volatile alkali were lowest.Total sugar,starch,sugar-protein ratio and oleic acid of tobacco leaf from west planting area were highest,and chlorine and malonic acid were lowest.Chlorine,oxalic acid and citric acid of tobacco leaf from east planting area were highest,potassium,potassium-chlorine ratio,myristic acid,palmitic acid,olieic acid,linoleic acid,linolenic acid,higher fatty acid were lowest.Total volatile acid,total nitrogen,protein,TS/R.S,malonic acid,myristicacid,stearic acid of tobacco leaf from southeast planting area were highest,and chlorine,TS-RS,sugar-protein ratio,oxalic acid,malic acid,citric acid,polyacid were lowest.Potassium,TS-RS, potassium-chlorine ratio and palm acid of tobacco leaf from southwest planting area were highest,and total nitrogen,protein,TS/R.S,myristic acid and oleic acid were lowest.Extraction of petroleum ether,nicotine,total volatile alkali,malic acid,myristic acid,stearic acid,linoleic acid,linolenic acid,polyacid and higher fatty acid of tobacco leaf from northeast planting area were highest,and total sugar,reducing sugar,starch,total volatile acid,chlorine,sugar-nicotine ratio,nitrogen-nicotine ratio and oleic acid were lowest.3.According to sensory index,taste quality of tobacco leaf from southwest was best, followed by west and centre,northeast and southeast,and east in order.4.Analyzed by canonical correlation and stepwise regression methods,Sugar-nicotine ratio,total sugar,nicotine and total volatile alkali were primary factors effecting taste quality including volume of arom,quality of arom,aftertaste,offensive taste,irritancy and smoking score of tobacco leaf of Yunnan.Malic acid positively effected combustibility and ash color, while polyacid negatively effected combustibility and ash color.The effect of malonic acid to quality of arom and total score,starch to combustibility,chlorine to ash color were negative. |
