Objectives:To investigate the protective mechanism of electroacupuncture on Neiguan point on the myocardial cell of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury models of rats,provide experimental basis for correlation ship between the meridians and zang-fu,and also provide effective methed for clinical prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases by observing effects of electroacupuncture on Neiguan point on creatine kinase(CK) and cardiac Troponin T(cTnT) and Adenosine(Ado) which is an endogenetic protective material after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury. Methods:Fifty Wistar male rats were randomly divided into five groups:the sham operated group,the model group,the Neiguan point group,the Lieque point group,and the Hegu point group,each group with ten rats.The anterior descending branch of left coronary artery in the root was cut through by a thread. Coronary artery was not ligatured in the sham operated group.20 minutes later,the coronary artery was ligatured for 40 minutes,and then reperfused for one hour in the model group. The points were electroacupunctured for 20minutes,the coronary artery was ligatured for 40 minutes,and then reperfused for one hour in the Neiguan group,the Lique group and the Hegu group,the first 20 minutes of which the points were electroacupunctured for 20minutes in. At the end of the experiment, the blood was obtained from the inferior vena cava and the heart was selected.Meanwhile,Creatine Kinase,Cardiac Troponin T andAdenosine were measured in all groups. Results:Electrocpuncture on Neiguan point decreased the contents of CK in the myocardial tissue and cTnT in blood serum,reduced the release of CK and cTnT after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury.Compared with the models,the different was significant(P<0.05 or 0.01).Electroacpuncture on Neiguan point increased the contents of Ado in blood serum,accelerated the release of Ado after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury. Compared with the models,the different was significant(P<0.01). Conclusions:Electroacupuncture on Neiguan points may supress the production of oxygen free radical, reduce the release of CK and cTnT after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury,and lighten myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury.Electroacpuncture on Neiguan point could accelerate the release of Ado after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury,made it play an anti infective role and model effect of ischemia preconditioning (IPC),and play an protective role in some degee after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury.There may be a specific close correlation between pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin and the heart.
