Translation is a kind of language art and the recreation of the original work. Sometimes it is rather difficult to translate than write. In all literary forms, verse is the most difficult form to translate because it is the crystallization of the high visualization and artistry. Translators should not only reproduce the contents, artistic characteristics and ideological expressions of the original verse, but also to rebuild the form, rhyme and rhythm. Therefore, the research into the translation of English metrical verse becomes more worthy. The author tries to prove that Eugene Nida's dynamic equivalence theory and aesthetic theories can guide the translation of English metrical verse. Whatever English metrical verse and art, or ballad and music, dynamic equivalence theory of Eugene Nida is the major guidance of translation practice. The author chooses Zhu Guangqian, Mao Ronggui, Huang Gaoxin's views as aesthetics'supports and takes Schiller's classic aesthetic theory as the guidance of realistic significance.Based on the translation of English metrical verse, the author analyzes the relationship and incorporation from the interdisciplinary point of view. Firstly, the thesis focuses on the combination of English metrical verse and art. The author gets enlightened in self printings of verse to analyze the importance and significance of printings through the practice of translation.Meanwhile, based on the dynamic and aesthetic analysis of color words in English metrical verse, the author strives to translate the colors of verse into Chinese. The author's unique classification of color words is a great innovation in the thesis.English and Chinese languages are different, but human emotions are interlinked. The senses of picture presented in verse are similar as well. Those two commons could deepen the understanding and comprehension in the process of translation and improve the quality of translation.Ballad, as the important component of verse creating, embodies the strongest note of music. Secondly, the author combines ballad with music to do the research into the relevance of rhyme, music score and Chinese Bopomofo and how the three aspects reflect the sense of music maximally.Verse's content tells me to appreciate; verse's image teaches me to think; verse's rhyme makes me to sing; verse's emotion teaches me lofty.
