It is in children's nature to love animation, so animation can be used to aesthetic education of children. At present, the Chinese, American, Japanese three countries have been occupying animation development of the market. But I want to choose Chinese cartoons to educate children, because, Firstly, Chinese cartoon has been training and development children non-intelligence factor and constructing children's health personality and psychology. Secondly, Chinese cartoon emphasize ideas and ethical connotation. Thirdly, china has always insisted on making healthy and pure cartoons, and the main audience focused on the young children. So I want to research Chinese cartoons from these reasons. Meanwhile, through survey I also found that children loved to Chinese cartoon. In addition, I choose China's mythology theme animation to research lastly, because, Based on the animation's questionnaire survey, I found that children are interested in Science fiction theme, mythology subject and fairy subject of Chinese animations. But I only selecting research mythology subject of Chinese animation, because think it has some value beyond the other subject animation. I think it has the aesthetic value, the cultural heritance value, and I also think it has some realistic significance for the Chinese animation's future development if I study it.This paper is divided into three parts total.The first part illustrates aesthetic characteristics of China's mythology theme animation. I want to elaborate it from the animation character modeling, animation background design, and animation color and music and animation plot. Firstly, Chinese mythology animation characters show the decorative beauty. Because character modeling respect lessons from the Peking Opera mask, dunhuang frescoes, the paper-cut, leather-silhouette, keeper and ZhiMa form of traditional art created again. Secondly, the animation background designs pursuit similarity in spirit, implicit, interdependent between the visible and the invisible Features, show some enjoyable beauty. Thirdly, the animation's colors are highly symbolic, with red and yellow represents positive character, with cyan and black represents a bad man. It also uses the white to symbol Fairy. And using rich colors represents a romantic, mysterious, and beauty world. Besides, the animation full of mystery, grace music and show us a Magical world.The second chapter to the main theme of the Chinese mythology animated cartoons for children's aesthetic education. This chapter combines questionnaire analysis. Through watching the mythology animation, it will make children happy and healthy, make children with love and moved. Children will have the virtue of courage, kindness, and forwardness. Through watching the mythology animation, children'consciousness can be trained, and the imagination or the curiosity can be development. The mythology animation contains china's traditional cultural elements, so children will understand our traditional cultural through watching the mythology animation, and children will inherited our Chinese traditions and national spirit happily and actively.The third chapter also combines a questionnaire. In the part, I found some deficiency of Chinese mythology animation, and Put forward the improvement suggestions. I also put forward some improvement suggestions to the whole Chinese animation. I think we should create the animation with Chinese characteristics, and I also think standing on the child's position to consider question is very important, every animation producer should consider these problems. Besides, we need to introduce some good animations to school, to the family, and into the children's life. We should use animation to educate our children, the animation will help them growth and will bring them more joy, the animation will illumination and edify our children.
