On Wu Qijun

Wu Qijun had outstanding achievement on science, criticized on politics fraud, and had the courage to reform for social abuse. But about his research, people have been being insufficient as paying attention, so this paper is trying to make all-side comprehensive research in order to promote the thorough research.This paper is divided into the following parts mainly:First, the paper explores his reform thoughts and practices. Wu Qijun criticized the rotten political dominance, the study style losing contact with reality, the talent crisis and the official treat ruin etc. At the same time, he claimed advantages and excluded fraud, and reformed lots of the bad sides of the society such as in finance, mining industry and salt industry and so on, and had the courage to practice. He still advocated to carry out open exchange.Secondly, the paper analyzes his science thoughts and methods. In science, Wu Qijun advocated to study for the purpose of application, to seek truth from facts, to emphasize practice , brave to create and understand the scientific thoughts through questioning. On the scientific research, he utilized the methods of the theory combining to the practice.Thirdly, the article introduces the scientific achievements of Wu Qijun respectively. In botany, mining industry and medicine study, agronomy andwater conservancy, he gained outstanding contribution.Finally, the article has given all-side comprehensive appraisement on Wu Qijun, the writer thinks he is a good feudal official in the politics, a scientist who had contribution on science.
