Aesthetic-dimention

"Aesthetic-dimension"goes through all the aesthetic thinkings of Herbert·Marcuse, as one of the chief concepts in his theory. Many experts and scholars who study in Marcuse,have tried to expound what is Marcuse' Aesthetic-dimension. I consider that this principal concept includes three qualities aesthetic heterogeneity ,self-discipline,(new)perceptual, which all point to the direction ——to gainsay and exceed the practicle world.This article tries to elaborate: Art heterogeneity,Art self-discipline,(new)perceptual these three concepts have their own different status and function in Marcuse' Aesthetics.Interrelated closely with those elaborations of the three concepts,Marcuse criticized capitalistic developed society and the art(literature) at that age in the way of sociology and psychology. Furthermore, this article also try to probe into the philosophy which Marcuse's aesthetics base on by analysing Aesthetic-dimension in metaphysics.
