In the 21st century, people are stepping into a digital information age. Multimedia aidedteaching has become an important application of computer technology to educational field. Inrecent years, multimedia courseware has been widely used in various teaching modes, and hasmade excellent teaching result. With the furthering of the Japanese language teaching reforms,more and more attention has been paid to the contextualized teaching. Network and computerhave become an indispensable tool people use for intensifying Japanese language teaching.Based on the designing and developing of the short-term intensifying Japanese languageteaching courseware in Preparatory School for Chinese Students to Japan, this paper attemptsto apply the course designing theory to the process of designing and developing intensifyingJapanese language teaching courseware and accordingly put forward the designing mentalityand teaching strategies of intensifying Japanese language teaching courseware which is moresuitable for adult learning. This paper is divided into four chapters. Chapter One analyzes the development tendency of intensifying Japanese languageteaching in network age. In recent years, the application of multimedia courseware hasachieved good result in educational field. With the further development of Japanese languageteaching, contextualized teaching has become more and more valued. In the teaching process,teaching materials can be lively presented under the multimedia aided system, and thus anideal learning environment can be set up. Consequently, an excellent teaching result can beachieved. All these add freshness to the classroom teaching. The traditional enclosed,cognition-oriented Japanese language teaching mode has been changed, In place of it is a newmode which will promote the full development of the students' four language skills: listening,speaking, reading and writing. Chapter Two provides an introduction to courseware and network-based multimediacourseware With the review of the definition of courseware, the structure of multimediacourseware and the difference between multimedia courseware and common courseware, thereader will have a though understanding of multimedia courseware.Chapter Three has a study of the designing process of network-based intensifyingJapanese language teaching courseware. The design of courseware must follow certaintheories and designing principles. It also needs adequate collection of data, the analysis of thesystem requirement and the designing of teaching.Chapter Four describes the designing process of the network-based intensifying Japaneselanguage teaching courseware, and the demonstration of the courseware is also presented inthis chapter. This chapter gives a detailed account of the choice of the tools, the establishmentof the running environment and the testing and evaluation of the courseware. And the readerwill also be shown the result of courseware making.teaching designing;contents library...
