The advent of the Information age impinges on the traditional teaching methods of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Advanced educational media such as multimedia technology, the Internet can enhance teaching effectiveness, increase the number of teaching objects and inject new vitality into Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, which has become the consensus of the professionals in this field.Instruction of Chinese Character is an important part but a weakness part in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. For not having been given sufficient attention in the past, its development is in a relatively backward state compared with those of voice, vocabulary and grammar. For the students who live in non-Chinese Character Culture Zone, learning to recognize and write Chinese Character is an arduous task. Therefore, during the Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, how to properly use advanced educational media to enhance the educational effect has been a focus problem.Blending Learning is the concept which is advocated by Educational Technology. It means to optimize the combination of educational factors to receive the educational objects. During the instruction, teachers and students correctly use all kinds of educational ways, modes, strategies, media and technology for the need of instruction, which can achieve artistic horizons. Correct using the concept of Blending Learning and constructing the Blending Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is an effective method to solve the focus problem of Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.This thesis attempts to seek specific principles of the Blending Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, so to build a scientific and simple teaching plan of it. The author has made researches for both construction and application, which include the following three aspects:1. Making Survey of the current situation of Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from four aspects and finding the shortage of it. Analyses the significance of constructing the Blending Instruction of Chinese Character for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
