This paper selected English-speaking students as the object of the research, and the Chinese modal particles'Ma, Ne, Ba, A, De, Ma'using at the end of sentences as the study content. Through the corpus and questionnaire, this paper gained the acquisition of the students in these modal particles. Based on the studies of the Chinese modal particles in Modern Chinese and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, this paper made an analysis on the students'errors. According to the comparison of English and Chinese differences in mood expression, this paper pointed out that Chinese was more exterior, while English was more interior. Because of the lack of explanations of Chinese modal particles in textbooks, this paper focused on the further study of the modal particles from the pragmatic point of view, and compared their differences at the end of the same sentence. The conclusions of this paper can be helpful to teach Chinese as a foreign language.
