A Study Of Correlation Of Locus Of Control To Self-reflection In College Students

Self-reflection is the way to improve the attainment of college students and to realize their excellence; it is the most important factor for college students'growth and development. Their soul-searching can help them formed the right concept of ego and enhance their self-efficiency. By self-reflection individuals became more confident, more correct self-cognition, even more open;It can assist college students to overcome the tendency of egotism; It makes undergraduates firm the belief of question (puzzled)—it is growing opportunity, it needs seeking the basic principles, it insured them were not be misled by surface features;Self-reflection was able to make college students more tolerant of the problem of uncertainty and to rise their capability to deal with badly structure of problems; It also helps them improve their way of dealing with experience;Self-reflection could develop students'society skills, and enhance their communication and cooperation, they can be effective management and control themselves and other people's moods ;Through their own contrition, they breached the limit of the mood, and to enhance the flexibility in their thought. In dealing with various social problems or mental problems, students can also be comprehensive examined from different aspects, or select a different point of reference to enhance the individual's ability;Finally, soul-searching can enable the students'thinking level, they will consider the background, which characteristic formed of thinking and new cognition. Thus it is a very important subject to think about how cultivate and promote students effective of soul-searching,.How attribute to the results and development of things could be a certain extent affect to students soul-searching and actions.In view of this, this paper entered from the relationship between locus of control and introspection, it is based on the relevant research and with an interview and open scale research. First of all, we selected three students to comprehend their view and attitude about self-reflection, on this base we compiled open questionnaire entries, extend to Chongqing university of a liberal arts class and an engineering classes, after callbacking we review and analyzing the content and then we found 65 items. After two test and expert advice, through the entries were analyzed, and the structure of final preparation included 39 items for reasons,frequency and effect of college self-examination questionnaire.After the review and analyze, we compiled students soul-searching questionnaire and discreetly chose the ripe typical samples version scale of locus of control. The investigation used empirical methods to explore the relationship between locus of control and introspection for domestic college students, made the students effective measures.By empirical research and analysis, this paper mainly to the following conclusions:①College students would reflect himself because of being looking himself up and seeking repeated successful experiences and achievements; They would reflect themselves because of his prepense or indeliberate mistake and enhancing their motivation and mood; They would reflect themselves because of the exercise of his own will and courage.②By the soul-searching reflections, college students could carry out an objective way of responding to things, their attainment and ability would promote, as the soul-searching in content and frequency of deepening and growth, their confidence to face to frustration increased; By self-reflection, they consolidate the new faith, etc.③The object of introspection and reflection had a predictive power and a large influence to the effects of self-reflection. That the individual soul-searching points to decided the validity of self-reflection.④The three factors that influencing college students'society life and study life were internality,powerful others and chance, internality was the biggest influence factor, powerful others was the second influence factor, and finally will consider the influence of chance.⑤College students' locus of control and self-reflection had very significant relevant.⑥College students' locus of control had a predictive power to effects of soul-searching. The development direction of attribution of college students decided the effect of self-reflection.
