Esquel Group

This thesis is composed of two sections: case main body and case analysis.Case section describes the competition conditions of garment manufacturing industry, and introduces Esquel Group and its quality management system, production process, and management information system.Case analysis part analyzes the problem confronted Esquel Group under the current market environment of garment industry; introduces the basic principle of Supply Chain Management; and suggests the solution for Esquel Group Supply Chain Management.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of garment industry and the actual problem in Esquel Group, the thesis expounds that Supply Chain Management is one of the effective solutions for garment manufacturing industry, the key problems, which are cooperating pattern between business entity, system modeling and simulation, planning and control as well as process management, are presented. The solution to the key problems as well as the structure, functions, and realization method of Supply Chain Management System are also introduced.
