Technological Developing Course Of A Large Military Enterprise

In this case, we described the establishment, implementation of a series of important technological innovation projects of 101 company since 1980's to the beginning of this century in the clue of time and in the theme of technological development, which included both the far-sighted successful innovations of former enterprise leader and doubled profits over the years, as well as the great hidden deficit made by self-asserted new leader and their false decision-making in succession; both the melancholy at the end of their wits and the hope during their ups and downs. In this case, detailed analysis were made on the failure of company's innovation and matters which should be paid special attention to in the process of technological development of state-owned enterprise was stressed. By applying the knowledge of Organizational Behavior, the role of leader of enterprise in the technological development was stated; by using SWOT theory of strategic management, current situation of 101 company was analysed, and combining the impact of China' entry to WTO to this line of business, the company' future technological development strategy was established.Through the description and analysis of the case, the article stated technological innovation is the source of the survival and development of an enterprise. Many factors must be taken into account during the technological reform of big and medium-sized state-owned enterprise. The development of enterprise comes from innovation, and innovation often bases on the quality of the enterpreneurs. The technological reform of big and medium-sized state-owned enterprises is not always smooth sailing .The enterprise need to create their own way of technological development on the basis of their own characteristics andspecialty.
