The Evaluation Of Regional Land Resources And Data Base

Land resources as natural resources are an important part of resource assets. Today, land management of our country is changing from objects management to value management. Management land resources as assets are the tendency of land management. According to this, we choose land resources valuation as our research title.Many approaches have been applied to land resources evaluation. But disadvantage still exists among them. According to the combination of Agricultural Land Classification Rules of the Department of National Land and Resource and regional actualization. This paper put forward a new evaluation system of regional (area or city) land resources evaluation. We adopt a way of qualitative quantitative and fixed position, classify valuation evaluation units, and assess land quality classification and ranks of production potential. We also use MAPGIS and computer technology to draw and build data base. The research work was carried on Shangqiu city and Nanyang city. Supported by MAPGIS, the land resources quality and production potential were valued and set up land information systems. At last we proposed rational measures of land sustainable utilization.
