Study On Assessments Of Sustainable Land Use At Regional Level

Land sustainable use is the material base and premise of sustainable development of society and economy. Under the condition that ecological environment is to be maintained and to be meliorated, land are sure to meet the need of the sustainable development of mankind society, which is the kernel of sustainable land use. The purposes of the thesis are as follows: to understand the present situation of land utilization in Taigu, to analyze the problems of land utilization, to put forward some feasible measures and beneficial suggestions to the government and ultimately to reach the ends of promoting the land use level.First the thesis elaborate the basis principles of land sustainable use, according to the natural and social economy situation, the characteristics of the land use, the aids and the principle of evaluation, we work out an index system form four aspects of productivity, protection, viability, acceptability. The weigh of indexes are defined by means of Analytic Hierarchy Process, the standardization of indexes are defined by effective function, then, we use multi-aid decision model which mainly reflects that indictors influence on aim and multi-aid liner function which mainly reflects aim the degree of land sustainable use during 1996 and 1999 in taigu. The results indicate that (1) land production is on the basic development level, the restrictive factors of land production are the ratio of land production, product of crop, the area of medium and low production ,multiple crop index. (2)Resource and Environment are on the level from initial to basic development, the restrictive factors of Resource and Environment are water loss and soil erosion, the decrease of cultivated. (3)The viability of economic is on the level from initial to basic development, the major restrictive factors are the average net-income of peasant, the average GNP, the agricultural output value, the Engel' s coefficient.(4) Acceptability of society is on the level from initial to basic development, the major restrictive factors are science and technology, quality of population.In all, the sustainability of land use of Taigu is on the basic development level, Productivity and economic feasibility greatly influence on the land sustainable use, however, resource protection and social acceptability restrain its development. As a conclusion, some measures are put forward in this thesis.
