On Cultivation Of Core Competence Of Corporation

In the 21st century, the trend of economy globalization has being strengthened increasingly. After Chinese enter WTO, domestic corporations are facing competition and challenge more than before. To survive and develop in competition, Chinese corporations must have stronger core competence, but the Chinese corporations with stronger core competence are so few. Thereby, how to cultivate core competence has been the hot topic.The thesis discussed the following aspects of core competence such as definition, character, identifying, evaluation, developing mechanism and approach, analyzed the present status of core competence of Chinese corporation, and make suggestions that how to cultivate core competence of Chinese corporation .In the process of analyzing the present status of core competence of Chinese corporation, some data this thesis refers to have some reference value in the practice of cultivation of core competence.On the viewpoint of this thesis, there are following reasons which made core competence of Chinese enterprises very low: low entrepreneur ability, low ability of R&D and innovation, and mistake multi-industry. Put forward countermeasures of cultivation of core competence: cultivating entrepreneur is the precondition of cultivating core competence, building-up of new concept is the ideology base of cultivating core competence, strengthening R&D and technology innovation is key of cultivating core competence, making great efforts to introduce into and cultivate person with ability is base of cultivating core competence. This thesis discussed how to cultivate core competence of Chinese corporation in present conditions, which has some reference value for Chinese corporation to cultivate core competence.Though identifying and developing mechanism of core competence has been discussed in the thesis, the theory has not been developed into a series of steps easy to operate, so, it has some limitation.
